If I keep my frames tight no one is interrupting it
Quit wimpering my fellow D1ck............... Let the brain storming begin...
Indeed no time to be emo. @AK Pig Of The Hut would you say it's a good idea to push block Zod when he has his trait pressrue ?Quit wimpering my fellow D1ck............... Let the brain storming begin...
you're not reading-13 sounds ALOT better I hope it's on point., ive mashed out d1 in escrima < "i say escrima cause its slower than staff d1" and caught some people out of the next swipe..
So now that we know it's -13, lets take it from there, that's a big enough window to get SOMETHING started.. We have frame traps, soooo, brain storming tiem...
its a possibilityIndeed no time to be emo. @AK Pig Of The Hut would you say it's a good idea to push block Zod when he has his trait pressrue ?
Can you upload the footage on you and macro. The D nation needs something to study from, for this mu.you're not reading
its TRAIT IS -13 NOT ZOD
zod is chilling
Sweep is your best option as he approaches. But even this is a read. Sometimes I'll pushblock and sometimes I'll sweep. Sometimes I block.its a possibility
but then i start swipe mb b3 and break your push block
its a mix up how you defend me

Yea next time I play him and fly I'll post in here and tag u guysSweep is your best option as he approaches. But even this is a read. Sometimes I'll pushblock and sometimes I'll sweep. Sometimes I block.
Pig when are we gonna record another set in this MU?
-19.Nightwing's B2 is 15f. Zod's trait grab is actually closer to -20 on block.
-20. 19f reversals punish trait grab.-19.
Yes unless you have a significant life lead and can trade till you win imoDo you guys think it might be best just to stay in escrima in the Zod matchup.
Because i'm starting to find out that all your options in staff will get beat out
by alot of things that Zod does, and in the long run that stance just feels
like a death trap.
-10 should be from the moments it is blocked. My guess, is that you should be able to get an airborne punish. Have you tried hitting her on the way down with f2 or d1 ef?How does NW check/punish WW Amazonian Uppercut in escrima? It says it's -10 but it doesnt feel nearly as bad on block. I also tried 113 to punish as she lands/trip guard but it felt like a just frame punish because it wasn't consistent at all. I know I can grab meta but is there a true punish in escrima? I would prefer that option if there were.
I was experiencing variable block stun due to crouchblocking it. I had someone test for me since I was at working and to have another opinion so still unsure what the optimal punish for this is but I will find out shortly. More importantly, when you crouchblock in escrima, it becomes a very strict punish, possibly a just frame. But you can punish in the manner of a trip guard w 113 but it must be very well executed. When crouchblocked I couldn't get any consistent punish, aerial or grounded. I believe I read somewhere that it takes about 4 frames to stand which would make -10 a just frame punish with a 6 frame attack which makes sense.-10 should be from the moments it is blocked. My guess, is that you should be able to get an airborne punish. Have you tried hitting her on the way down with f2 or d1 ef?
I love Escrima against Zod but if I get in, then it's up to me to dictate the match and he'll have to handle both stances if I'm up close. But I prefer Escrima because I can blow up both of his wake ups and NW's escrima dash is awesome in this match up. If you get a Zod desperate from all the ground sparks, you make him eat the bait and go for AIR MB Zod Balls which has enough recovery for NW to get in close range before Zod lands back on the ground and call out trait. (takes 3-4 well timed dashes) That's not the only way Zod calls trait but you want it to be. A traitless Zod is a weaker one IMO. I haven't played this game in a week so Im just theory fighting, don't take this advice lolDo you guys think it might be best just to stay in escrima in the Zod matchup.

The one thing i feel is good for staff in this matchup is staff spin MB and the corner.I love Escrima against Zod but if I get in, then it's up to me to dictate the match and he'll have to handle both stances if I'm up close.
