Not that I know him or anything...or both for that matter, but I believe P2w. If Rico did in fact walk away from this, yet again, then I just don't believe he has the money. Sorry....just being real. The way Rico talks on these podcasts, he makes it sound like he would body P2W...and how he wants to build some computer at his home, lol. Then why not do this thing already?

As if this was ever really going to happen. I think it started with both guys just calling each other's bluff, but when push came to shove, it was never going to happen. Oh well, at least P2W tried to make it happen.

Someone make a Rico thumbs up meme out of this.

PS: Maybe you guys can lower the stakes to something more reasonable (how about $100) and finally settle your blood feud. Or have a hell in a cell match. One or the other.

I must respectfully disagree. The amount of money is what really makes this match even remotely interesting.

I just think rico wasn't confident in his own ability at the time, for whatever reason maybe he didnt come prepared. He sounded very confident in the podcast. You kind of have to understand that, you dont do 1000 dollar money matches unprepared, b8t then again he knew p2win would be there. Props to @P2W for trying though

Did it occur to your classy, $1000 brain that not everyone in real life has that kind of money to just throw around due to losing at a video game? And that you know, that's probably the reason this money match hasn't happened yet...

Lol....well of course, honey. What YOU need to understand is that there are people on this site, P2w included, where $1000 MIGHT JUST NOT BE THAT MUCH OF A BURDEN. My point is....if Rico never had the money (which is a logical reason why he is ditching P2w, who most likely does have the funds) then he should have never agreed to it. Perhaps Rico should have lowered the price...God knows he could have articulated this.

I don't want to come across as being a jerk, but if we're being honest...

From all that I read/see a lot of players bum rides, sleep on hotel floors, and smell poorly. I don't know if the last one is true, but I believe a lot of fighting game players are either unemployed or work part time jobs. With either one of those being true it would be difficult to earn 1k.

Maybe also at the time Rico accepted, he was supremely confident in his abilities, and now not so much or he isn't as focused on injustice, like at the time when it was first brought up.

Bravo, you managed to say exactly what I said above, despite seemingly disagreeing. What I said, "honey", was that Rico clearly backed out, probably because he doesn't have the money, which is why I never thought this money match was realistic to begin with (there's a reason it hasn't happened in 5 months). And yes, Rico deserves the blame if he was the one who backed out. "Perhaps Rico should have lowered the price." If only I said EXACTLY the same thing in a post above, one that you disagreed with.
