Concerning the $1000 money that was likely to occur at final round, it never happened. I would like to explain, for the record, why.
I came prepared to play @Rico Suave in our pending Money Match. However, this did not occur. I arrived Friday night at midnight. On Saturday, I made three attempts to talk to Rico. He would not acknowledge my existence or respond to me. He simply ignored me and walked away. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I thought he may have just not heard me. However, after talking to @FOREVER KING when we got home to Ohio I learned that he did indeed hear me. Rico stated, "I heard him, I just didn't want to talk to him at all." I had the money and this can be confirmed by @Emperor DMS 's twitter. I spoke to one of Rico's good friends, JRosa, who said "Rico really didn't want to play you until after the tournament." I can understand this logic. Please note, after Rico was disqualified I attempted to talk to him in which he simply walked away from me and ignored me. Several people around me played witness to this including @Hysteria .
So how was I supposed to get this Money Match going when he didn't even acknowledge me. I do not feel like carrying >$1000 to every major that Rico 'might' be at. This was the perfect opportunity to get this done and it didn't happen. There will be no money match with Rico. No hard feelings, and to be honest, there really is no good reason for this drama anyways. I attempted to squash it several times but he refuses to.
I will answer any questions about this in this thread but beyond this I will not be talking about it further.
