Yeah. But we see similar cycles within EACH of these "eras". But the Injustice is Dead to... the patch was like a "Night and Day change" which it was due to the game being flipped upside down. This new thing could be a big change, or it could be as bland a lateral move as MK > Injustice to EVO. However its nice to see the optimism. I like the spirit. It can only help the community grow/prosper

Even though these threads have already been made and every community has debate about this strategy(refereeing to the Counter-Picking). I can guarantee you that both will be discuss even MORE in the next Major or EVO.They might not have they own "Era", but they will be part of one.........or two in the near future.
Yeah but in Injustice, counter-picking isn't really as easy as it sounds. Especially with intractable and such. You'd actually have to have spent time PLAYING that character or you will be scrubbed up like the the lunch trays in public schools. Not sure too many Hard Counters exist. I mean most good Zod players would body a pocket Sinestro. So I don't think that will come into play too much. However 3/5 is a must due to aforementioned variables... (interactables) and the sheer force of some characters. Also Injustice games seem to go pretty quickly so I don't think time restraints will be too much an issue. Personally. I mean if they can do final round pools all night.. ect. ect.
2 Joker Nerfs... Never thought I'd see that as a possibility. However if that happens. People will then demand a hotfix for any character to ever win a major... then Injustice can be like Yugioh where after every Major, a couple of balance tweaks are made. Nothing major but it'll have Formats. Certain cards banned this format will be allowed in the next. Can't wait for level 4 venom implementation. The cost you ask? Once you go debuff.... you NEVER come out of it.... good luck!
