What is going on guys, Ya Boi Zyphox here.
i have been reading up on some stuff about 3/5 sets and i think we can pull it off, just like the tekken community has. but just one thing needs to change.
The down time in between pools and while pools are being played like winners or losers of pools we have all the set ups playing casuals instead of round 1 of pools 3 because everyone is on casuals or watching losers finals of pool 2 to see who wins. i think that once it becomes losers finals of pools is where the next pool should be starting round 1 all or most matches. that way by the time pool 2 is finished we are already in the 2nd round of pool 3. every tournament i have been to has had down time in between pools to some extent until its crunch time and we need to play all the matches, even a match like me vs Pig was off stream (probably because they knew how free it would have been anyway) because we needed to rush through because pools took so long (because of the delays and downtime), and rushing players in top 32 in a 2/3 set is awful. i was told right after my loss to reo to play pig immediately halfway walking out the door to go take a shit. anyway if we can get right through pools like i heard UFGT went through them, we will have no problem demanding 3/5.
Next is do we have the balls to enforce this rule? we are already in consensus that 3/5 is the best. but what if no other major wants to give it to us? do we go behind their back and do it anyway? do we not attend? do we "boycott" the event opan-swifttomhanks style?
please discuss for the 30th time on this topic so we can get a vote perhaps and force every major from here on out 3/5 because the NRS community is boss like that.
