lol yea man, online is so crazy. Plus frames don't get respected like 70% of the time. I wish this game was a little more like Street Fighter's normals where they're fast enough to play footsies. I'll never understand NRS reasoning for making light attacks and D2's in this game so slow. 7 frames should be the most. Aquaman has a 7 frame D2 and look at how many people jump on top of him. If normals were faster, +8 moves would guarantee you can't be poked out (well online more than offline, offline I have no problem following up after I'm plus)

I tend to just go for D1 into F213, if I'm doing D12 I go for 33 into staff spin for pressure or 3 into MB flipkick to stay in Escrima.

I always do D1 f213 but it gets predictable and People will try to poke me after I spark cancel. So Ill switch to d12 later and go for the chip or staff spin ext.

soooooooooo. Idk if this happens to anyone else or if im just timing it wrong but when I do D12 in escrima im supposedly +8. I keep getting poked after it. I noticed it online and a few others did to. I take it offline and the same thing happens when playing with friends. I do D12 then try and go for F213, instant air J3 wing dings, B13 and ill get counter poked.

This happens to me a lot offline, but I always assumed that am doing the f213 too late and I need to be faster. try testing it in the lab yourself see if it's consistent.

I do, Idk its random sometimes. Ill play in my offline local scene and people dont know its + so they either get hit or I get hit with a D1 poke. The more I play offline the more consistent people keep poking me lol. yea I may just be too slow but it dosnt feel like it.

I feel that D12 is used as a tool that makes your opponent play your game. Like things like F213 is one of your later options in the game after you do you D12. Because you can also play footies with ground pound and B2, and like i said before wing dings is also a great option or even staff spin MB because after that it puts you at a bunch more great options to do.

Trust me i can go in but i just hold my self back becuse when people start to find out how i play i know i can do a quick change in how i play to throw off my opponent.

You better I aint raise no scrub lol. I need to show you how to beat glare with NW. He used to body me with his hawkgirl and after he eliminated me from like 2 locals after youma I had enough. I 3-0 ed him with NW and played a LONG set with him afterwards. think the final score was like 20-19.

Ya people can stiil poke you after the D12 that's y it's best to do a jump back wing dings so your opponent wont hit buttons next time after it so you can continue prussure after the D12,

Really? I use those frame-traps all the time until people learn to backdash or jump. D12 is +8 and F2/3 are 10/14f. You guys shouldn't be getting poked out. Maybe you're just not doing them fast enough?

I said the same thing but offline people are just poke poke poke. to not riskl it I back dash then B2 on the whiff punish.

I usually do d12, take a step back and punish the wiffed poked with b2. Once they get hit with that a few times, they will stop poking. Or you can do d12 jump back wingdings.
