KI top 8 was great.

I know TYM isn't really the main forum for KI these days. But I just have to say I enjoyed watching top 8 immensely. The comeback by Balrogs Orchid early on really set the stage and was one of the hypest moments I've watched live in fighting games.

It was great to see the high level Glacius of Filipino Champ, his zoning reminded me of freddy in MK9 when he baited his opponent to jump over his projectile and land right into shadow spike.

Rico's thunder looked solid as always, I'm interested to see him put more time in with Spinal because even just he short match he used him in you could see some clear potential.

Congrats to JWong, his blocking and patience was great. Balrog simply could not break his defense safely.

KI top 8 was really entertaining, and a lot more fast paced then I expected it to be.

Glad to see Eduardo doing so well, his Orchid is really impressive. Rico played solid like usual, and JWong's patience was as impressive as always. Awesome top 8.

I think he's best played lame in almost every MU.

What makes the character good really isn't his unsafe 50/50s or his rushdown, it's his godlike normals and how they help him setup a throw game.

I watched the top 8 as well. I fully regret not buying a Xbox one, but oh well. Thunder looks like a character I would use. I'll continue to watch KI top 8's after seeing this one.

He rarely seemed to miss a punish on Balrogs Ich Ni San. You could see the frustration of trying to break that defense.

Its not a pure guess as some linkers can only be followed by certain manuals. Thunder in particular can't manual things off certain linkers. Example being a light triplax linker, can only be followed with a light manual.
