We were given a room for inj and mk that held 90 people max capacity

With inj numbers expecting more than 150 shock took actions and spoke w Larry and had a new space worked out for us

I'm posting this because these are the little things that are actually huge shock does and this was awesome

Thank you @Shock for making sure I wasnt rubbing skins w 149 sweaty dudes for 14 hours

Shock is probably one of the coolest and nicest dudes I've had the pleasure of meeting in this community. Props to you my man, and all you do.

This is the model that everybody should be following -- rather than waiting until after the event and complaining or boycotting because you didn't get what you want, talk things out with the TO ahead of time and work out what you need.

Everyone could have easily just waited until after FR and then blown Shin up because our space was too small/cramped (and we've all seen these kinds of posts); but it wouldn't have gotten us anything.

The direct approach got us Saturday pools at SCR pre-cap and it got us a larger space here. Kudos to Shock for handling things in a professional and straightforward way :D

Me getting there: ... so this is the room we go to to sign up in right? casuals are in another room right? lol

And thank you for being there again and again for this community. You helped the NRS community once again get to see their games when all seemed lost. I literally would have needed to find a verizon store and set up an account with them today, when I was lead to believe you could register through the device. This should be the final time there's ever an issue barring connection quality. Flipkevs btw, got the same results.

Onto the issue today. I had no idea we were slated for a room about the size of the Sheraton in philly, I figured at least the holiday inn with no divider. Granted it would have handled things today but definitely no way tomorrow. Way too many people. After we had everything set up we wind up talking to several TOs, and 3 out of 5 or so agreed no way we could stay in there so we were swapped with KI which will draw half injustice numbers.

Big props to Larry, Big E and others for making the right call because we almost said F it and stuck it out. It did push back getting to the point where I realized the verizon mifi I had wasn't enabled through its own software. Would have saved us some time and i held back mk9 pools as much as reasonably possible. Fortunately we caught them up in no time. Everyone did a great job. I will point out, this was not Larry's plan from the start. Anime numbers apparently blew up and will likely beat us out.
