While she may not have better tools, she has much more consistency in her kit imo. Likewise, she fares a bit better against the mid-tier than Kf does in that she doesn't get chop blocked by armor on wake-up (usually) and has more than just the one option and parry. Her mobility is pretty decent, but both lack a way to get in and do their business against a really strong defensive wall. The rest I can agree with, and as I said a case could be made for a 7 (I don't think BG is more viable than Bane either, maybe on the same level), but I could see where a 6 could be placed as she does have some faults and not exactly the best track record. So to say, theres not much data to go off of.
I don't really care about "track record" tournament results or whatever. I give people I play plenty of problems and they all understand the character,the matchup, and are very very good players. I hope to see the pug shirt this weekend.

Yeah I co-main KF and Batgirl and I could see them both fitting close to the same level, tbh. I do not agree that Batgirl has better tools against the 7's and above though, I think that KF does a little better against the higher tiers Vs Batgirl, like Aquaman/Sinestro for example. I think Batgirl has a bit more going for her on the ridiculous side though: corner damage, meterless vortex, millions of ambiguous setups....and her comeback factor eliminates some of her downside on her harder matchups so I could see BG at a 7.5 where Frost would be a 7.
The reason Batrgirl outstrips KF agaianst the higher tiers imo is that she has a million ways to confirm into vortex. Random b1, b2, j2/3, MB teleport, d2, MB flying bat, etc. Also her cartwheel + flying bat + tele give her much better midscreen space control. And Batgirl has much better control of interactibles in a game where interactables matter.

If you can stay away from or jump away from KF's slide, or outzone/counterzone her, she loses most of her space control and has to take a lot of risks in order to try to play her game. That's ok against characters who have to struggle with it, but not that great against characters with better mobility and space control.

I don't doubt it, I think when we first played you bodied me with a non-zoning DS when my Bane was younger and... worse. That being said, even you can't deny that in comparison to Batgirl, KF doesn't have as much concrete offline data in comparison to the others around her. So as I said before, she could be a 7, but theres just not enough data so I can understand the 6.

You will. I plan on wearing it during pools since I might hop on commentary, god willing lol.

I am basing this off of playing and watching great players of both characters. So for example, to me playing Sonic is a lot different from playing other Batgirl mains because he actually knows how to make use of all of the character's tools.

OK, you have to give me props for keeping you occupied with countless KF arguments. Oh man, back when I was secretly top Deathstroke since I knew how good his footsies and rushdown were...as to why I knew not to rely too much on zoning back then?

My point is that KF has excellent space control, air control no. Excellent horizontal space control, and the threat of slide making you hold down at mid-range means something.

lol. Props for what? I've played every character to some extent so its not like I don't know a thing or two, and I'm always willing to lob a bit of talk here and there if it helps develop the game or explain something.

And I didn't know a thing about it haha.

Ok, but her primary tool has one big flaw: her horizontal space control is limited to a very low hitbox. If I jump, I still get hit by batgirl's cartwheel, flying bat, teleport etc. If I jump KF's slide it either whiffs at best case for her, or I get a punish at best case for me. And her air normals aren't really good enough to preemptively control the airspace. So if you take the ground game away from her, or at least make it risky, what does she have left against the top tier?

Wrong, KF's slide may have very low priority...but delaying it can trip guard your opponent. Best case on a jump is not my slide whiffing, best case is trip-guarding you into 30+ into a 50-50.

If I'm timing or spacing it wrong, that's on me. And against characters that have any kind of air mobility or can teleport out of the air, that risk is on you.

That isn't really a huge risk, it is just a mind game in the meta if they are jumping back to anticipate a slide. Delaying slide on a jump back is good, but she has other options like anti-airing with daggers into iceberg.

Catwoman do way more damage then flash
Yes I agree she is overly balanced in a bad way and ninja should stop closing catwoman buff threads when she really needs it. If he didn't close the thread we would probably have a mobility speed buff. But that what happens when you have ignorant staff running the site. Instead of him trying to make everybody agree which I'd tried to do. He close the thread.
She is deadly in the corner. Probably one of the best character that can consistently push there opponent in the corner like Wonder Woman but catwoman just do higher damage then her 40 and up. She has different mix up option in the corner. Once she do a f112,bf1,j1,112 whip she can dash in and do a b2 cross up or a catdash cross up, f1,b1 and 2d2. And also she can do a j1 which is positive 21.

Now to the midscreen she can do 53 at the highest using 1 bar. Obstacle up to 63% 1 bar. Once she get a 1f2 started she can j1 and do a 50/50mix up or dash in and do a 50/50mixup. She can also do a mb catdash cross up on hkd.

Her ground footsies is really good. But not that great like other characters. I had to adapt when I played reo. He kept knocking me out of the air with 3. So I had to depend on her ground footsies.


Her b3 can go under mid and high attacks. A great tool for punishing characters.

In my opinion and by experience from using the character since day one and playing all of her Mu. I would say she would be a B- because if her match up. 7.5/10 people are just sleeping on the this character is all l. The community just Need somebody to show what she can really do
