I think its more about exposure - most potential viewers will be at work/school at 11AM on a weekday.

I think before we all start raging, we should try and actually rectify the situation first. Usually a tourney rep is on TYM in the days before the tournament to discuss arrangements. Is one here for Final Round? If so, someone tag them so we can discuss exactly why our game is scheduled at this time. If it turns out that we're at 11AM because a bunch of other games had more entrants, then Eric is right and you guys have to hold that. If not, then perhaps we can negotiate a rearrangement by explaining to them how supported the game and passionate the community is, but this will only work if we're civil and non-accusatory..

I am seriously tired of watching people bitch about having 11 AM finals someone has to have 11 AM finals get over it dont stay up till 8 on saturday drinking

This is a fucked up mentality considering you may see some of these people/friends once a year and to say "you can't have fun with these people you barely see because you have to play video games in the morning" is pretty bleh. However, 11 AM is pretty fair, comparatively speaking.


Pre-Reg entrants should definitely be the factor that decides a games placement.

A. 11AM is not early at all, that is sleeping in for most people
B. Everything in front of Injustice has more entrants than it does. Tekken has almost twice as much as we do.
C. Top 8/16 is on sp00ky's stream, which is the premier stream of the FGC.

There is no room for complaint here. None.

I agree. Tekken has more entrants than we do, so they get priority. Everyone should shut up and just bow their heads and be grateful that we have a spot on Spooky's main stream. What, you want the primetime slot? Good, me too. The game is freaking awesome. Support it and grow the community so that more and more people will sign up.

Tekken has more entrants than us- it's pretty much their biggest event of they year since their game didn't make it to Evo.

And Capcom is a sponsor of FR.

Nothing unreasonable about them getting priority- they're contributing more to the event that's taking place. Simple as that.

tbh, if we want dem later slots, we need to have more ppl register for our events, simple as that. If we had 256 for final round, we'd be in there. We got a respectable 130, and we still got a sunday spot as well.

I have no doubts that this tournament is going to be hype as hell, and it totally deserves a primetime slot. Unfortunately, while I may not personally care about tekken, it deserves it a little bit more. Someone had to get the 11:00 time slot, and you can't argue with the fact that Injustice got lower numbers than the other 3 titles in the list. We still got the 11:00 slot on the *MAIN STREAM*.

Consider this: we got a second year at EVO. We can give the Tekken community Final Round.
