Wanted to hear a quick sample of the podcast.
Randomly went to 1:27:55.
Listened for about 30 seconds.

on a couple points, i still think Lex loses to Superman rather than 5-5 but it 's definitely a lot better than prepatch. I also think Lex does well against Batman and almost everyone disagrees with me for some reason.

On the Sinestro thing, I do think it's practically unwinnable at a high level. With every other matchup in the game I've always thought there are things I can work on, more tech to find, etc. But with Sinestro, the character fucks me at such a fundamental level with the mechanics of the game that as far as the characters can evolve, I can't see it going better than 3-7 on the most advantageous stages. Sinestro-Lex on Ferris is probably a 9-1. However, I do agree with the point about him being an uncommon character. If the matchup is being played at a high level with a top Sinestro like Cowboy or P2W, I'm never going to win, but pocket Sinestros aren't going to work, so with most brackets I think Lex can consistently place.

Yup, Lex is fucked up...every character has a chance in this game and is fun to see this in a fighting game.

I've been thought Lex beats Batman. This shit is terrible.

If I was going to post a Catwoman matchup chart now I would probably give her 3 3-7 matchups. Aquaman, Sinestro and Bane.

I have a theory that a bad character (or at least one that struggles and requires very flawless play) can be indicated by having bad matchups against Bane and Sinestro simultaneous; basically, suffering from characters that function on opposite ends of the zoning spectrum. Thoughts?

Doesn't fit in this case. Sinestro doesn't beat Catwoman by zoning her out. He just out footsies her. She actually loses all her matchups for the same reason.

True. It's easy to forget how strong Sinestro's footsies are when his zoning is as good as it is.
I forgot that Catwoman can just get under it lol.
Perhaps generalizations just can't be made in a game that functions as over-the-top as this one.
