With the sting of failure at SCR still lingering PPJ and 16 Bit(me) returned to the welcoming embrace of our incomplete meta to do battle with our fellow shitters and oddballs at GBS. The first big story of the night was Saucy Jack's often disrespected Batman defeating my Catwoman a mere hour after popping off about how I am the Batman killer and would never lose to a Batman again. PPJ made his way through the winners bracket with the Martian and his returning Raven, no doubt inspired by playing Ducky at SCR. This lead to a Batman vs. Raven winners finals that saw PPJ moving onto his second grand finals of GBS season 3. Meanwhile I tore through the losers bracket, clear of my arch nemesis Max thanks to Tom Brady's Mom's complete meta Superman. The stage was set for a grand finals between the two returning heroes. Only one would earn a slice of redemption from SCR. PPJ selected Hawkgirl and the battle of the animal girls was at hand. Last man standing would indeed be a woman. That woman was Shiera Hall, with a 3-1 victory PPJ has won his first GBS since season 1.


Also in the bracket...

Hruza Da Bruza was sent to losers first round by DQ but made it all the way to 5th, defeating notable players Jim, Jeremiah and Heroic Legacy on the way.

Max defeated TBM in winners only to fall to him in the losers bracket. Max was last seen at Tony's drinking the top 5 Hot Chocolate and mumbling about switching to Doomsday.

Soonk played anime games with Hero's Asian friends.

Hey hey hey. I was using a 6 button stick thanks to Han because mine was in the shop. I kept trying to throw instead of interactables, and it felt weird. However, that being said. Our set should have been streamed. Panty smelling weakness of me and my new stick, chose Killer Frost. It came down to the last match where he got me down to about 5% health left and he had about 40% with a clash. I pulled out a very narrow victory on the last hit. I told him he should be Killer Frost more often.

It was a fun Tournament. I hate having to show up late every week, but I Will be coming out MUCH more now. Hopefully finally breaking into top 3 sometime! Thanks for all the props everyone :)
