Cause all I am reading is a matter of perception. Season 2 has all but been officially confirmed. That would seem to indicate support. The fact that It is getting another dev at all would seem to indicate support.

It took almost 8 months for NRS to fix Superman. You better than anyone know how silly that was considering we had pre-launch discussions about that character.

KI was sold with their current model. They said Spinal was out in January, and he was. You cannot dog on a game for having a couple of glitches associated with a character and then uphold another that had the same thing (Zod).

If you don't like it, just stfu about it and move on.

Spinal teleport freezing the game if the opponent backdashed at the same time is probably the worst glitch induced from a patch, tied with SFxT wheb Rolentos dagger colliding with a fireball freezed the game.

Regardless, both are patched so it's not a big deal.

Support for KI from devs is definitely still happening. I think today or very soon a patch is coming out to fix a few bugs (mostly XBL stuff). Patch notes just went up for it yesterday

On topic, it depends what you want to do really. Spinal is the best char in the game when he has resources, probably the worst when he doesn't. Pretty interesting

If it is setups your best bet is to gravitate toward Glacius/Spinal

Everyone has roughly the same risk/reward factor because of how the game works.

Zod lost his trait mid match and essentially became stunted and useless.

Pick Nightwing, put him in staff stance, and have an air dash character cross him up and tell me Injustice is perfect.

It's fixed. Pick him up and play him now....if not STFU about it.

I like both games, if you don't that's 100% your right not to.

I would just like to ask you one last time out of the goodness of your heart and your standing as a community leader, please do not bury this game for no. fucking. reason.

Pig hated on Injustice for a while as well. You guys remember early on all of the MK9 is better threads? It happens sometimes people need a character or a patch to give them the spark they need to consider something decent. At this point he's got a 500$ KI box and he doesn't really like KI. This is aside from the point of this thread.

In talking to Ninj I honestly think Orchid is the closest to playing like skarlet.

-Her projectiles are about as good as post patch skartlet daggers in that she only gets them in instinct and they serve almost exclusively for frame advantage and don't really work well for damage.
-Her slide goes under some projectiles (like skarlet armor dash)
-Her Ich Ni San is similar to skarlets options after dash where she can go overhead, chargeable unblockable or low similar to skarlets upslash, downslash and slide.
-She has great mobility, best walk speed in the game.
-Her Damage is really good but most of her moves are punishable.

Sounds like skarlet to me. All of that said, KI doesn't really play like MK9 at all so it's truly difficult to make honest comparisons. Sadira is def aesthetically dark like Skarlet as opposed to Orchid who is military tech like Sonya.

I didn't realize this was a pissing contest between KI and Injustice. Lbsh batgirl vortex is dumb and counter breaker instinct cancels are dumb.

I think only Sadira can get a counter breaker instinct cancel that allows her to continue the combo even if it fails (option select)- and yeah, that's soooooo freaking broke. But I don't think any of the rest of the cast can.

Sadira's instinct is def very strong most people just turtle up while it's going. Similar to playing against Zod trait. I remember one of the matches at SCR where a guy playing Jago was canceling the web balls out with just Jago normals, so maybe turtling doesn't have to be the only way to deal with her instinct.

I don't advocate bashing other games, but a part of me just has to point out that SOME of you guys had this coming. The very second KI3 was released SO MANY of you guys just took a massive dump on Inj. and those who still supported the game. I remember that era perfectly; KI3 was flawless and was the perfect fighter and IGAU was shit and so were it's supporters....then came NEC etc., etc., etc.,

Now that KI has been out for a minute, people (like Pig) have developed an opinion of it...so be it. Now that people may not find the game so GDLK, don't sit here and cry, "omg...don't shit on this game....SO UNFAIR...give the game a chance!!! Let it grow!!!". SOME (not all) of you didn't have the same sentiment towards INJ when KI was released.

(Keep in mind I'm not bashing the game...this is just a social commentary on the double standard that is known as TYM )

I have no problem when people have well thought out logical arguments. In your case, yes people (not me) shat on Injustice before KI launch. Just remember, that THOSE people are not the ones appearing in a thread like this. This thread is a KI thread of a pretty well known and straight up guy (@Ninj ) looking to get into the game.

It's not an Injustice stream, post, or topic. The only reason why I am bringing it up to Pig is because the guy is a well known, competitive, spirited, smart and renowned, guy.

Pig is fucking awesome at a lot of things. His attitude carries weight. That's what concerns me.

Personally, I think Pig is awesome and the community would be worse off without him. I think he understands from run ins with me in the past that I don't carry these things personally. Hell, if Pig messaged me tonight being like "Hey man, can I test this with you" I would be there in a heart beat.

I just like to stop things before they "scar" the game if you will.

I invite my friends just fine. The chat issues are Xbox one related not KI. That patch is actually imminent to fix it.

Yeah I've had it for almost a year now. I'm currently training my girlfriend and her 2 sisters while I work on some side projects and continue working my day job in software. Got the NASM certification, it's good shit. Putting the 3 ladies through the ringer with my first set of workouts.

Both games kick ass. I hope they support both games for years to come and bring the hype.

KI is FUN as fuck. I would say it isn't as exciting as Injustice when it comes to tournaments or watching but playing with friends or online it is a blast.

I feel that Injustice is just at the beginning of its SWEET moment in time when it is at its best and will continue to grow and be better. By the time EVO comes around, KI should have that same feeling hopefully.

I support both and want both to be amazing in the long run.
