Didn't see anything posted for the results of top 8. Thought the fellow KI players that didn't get to watch because they were watching the Injustice hype instead. I got these from Eventhubs.

KI isn't dead, it just isn't getting the respect it deserves. Having KI and inj streamed at the same time was a smack to the face to our communities. Because KI and NRS basically go hand in hand.

Side note: Who modded Godspped Hitbox to play on Xbone? I've tried to contact that Gummowned guy but no response.

EGP is not an exclusively NRS stream, if you saw pools yesterday, they wholeheartedly support KI too.

It's way too early to think this game is done. Besides the price you have to pay just to have access to it is really holding it back. I think it will grow with time. I also remember for a moment there where no one really watched injustice and major streams couldn't break 10k viewers. It wasn't until post 1.6 patch that the game really took off. Give it time.
