These particular two not only build meter slowly but need it for armor, specials, and access to safe 50/50's so yes them being meter dependent would be an issue if IGAU had breakers. Even with a clash we're screwed cause we use all our meter defending or attacking. We can't afford to save up for 4 bars.

clashes are pretty cool since it gives you a little bit something more to take into consideration in meter management. breakers are pretty much just a standard burst like in any game only that it uses meter when most games that have bursts, they have their own gauge or something like like that so it limits how much you can do it if you're playing a character that builds meter fast as shit.

Well in MK9 there are a lot of meter-dependant characters who get Breakers just fine even with slow meter-building capabilities. And meter-building in MK9 is much slower than IGAUs.

But it's a different game so
