So after all of this weekend's action, there are a lot of people to mention here. I'm fairly drained from the excitement, but I wanted to take a moment to send some shoutouts:

-To @BigE Thanks for stepping up and helping to make this tournament big for Injustice. I've always felt that when given a fair chance to shine, IGAU tournaments always deliver, and I think today was more proof of that. It just felt "right" to be in prime time alongside the other major games.

The pot bonus definitely helped, and hopefully we can keep the lines of dialouge open between you and the community for future events.

-To Oxygen: Thanks for providing a great deal of hype. Lobo is always exciting to watch, but you took it to another level completely. Hoping to see more of you in and around forums, streams etc. before your next event.

-To @DarthArma and @Mikemetroid: Thanks for doing the hard work behind the scenes. I know things must have been crazy with so many good players showing up to register at the door, but it's awesome that you guys can keep level heads and be patient enough to run the tournament while competing and fighting well. Kudos.

-To @RM Chongo: I was proud of you man. This tournament was huge for you and it was great to see you do well. You've come along way from.. that thing we won't speak about :p

-To @AK SaltFace: Really happy you were able to make it. Shoutouts to Glass Sword for the ride. Always good to see your Harley at a tournament and I'm looking forward to Final Round. Get back safe and sound.

-To @RG Rico Suave: Great weekend for you man. Winning KI almost makes up for you being free in Injustice ;)

In all seriousness though, you represented majorly this weekend in multiple games. It was great to see you doing your thing in Street Fighter, and the KI Gfs will be talked about for a while. Congrats and talk soon.

@EMPEROR_JUPITER for all the support, he was since day one calling me flash of 'Murica and top 3 hypest matches of WB, and even preparing me for finals, awesome teamate and friend. also @LanceMonsoon for urging me to pop off after every match and keep going, he motivated me like x factor motivates vergil.

shoutouts to all EMPEROR's, strongest clan by far (hold that 88's) with killers in all parts of the USA.

shoutouts to starwolf, he let me stay in his hotel for free all weekend and supported me all the way, top 1 funniest guy at WB free.

shoutouts to @Tom Brady great respect for bill, we are 1 - 1 in tournament against each other and honestly i was more happy he got top 8 than i did.

shoutsout again to @Shock for the stream, you guys just don't know when it comes to all the support and love we get from shock, and all his behind the scenes stuff, all hype accredited to shock for WB pools.

too many shoutouts to give but if i missed you let me so i can give you a proper shoutout.

Shoutouts to @Tom Brady who was my personal vote to win after Chongo got eliminated.
Shoutouts to @RM Chongo for coming out and showing his stuff in the best way possible. Also for being handsome.
Shoutouts to @SonicFox5000 who makes me feel older every day. :( 15 and a god among us.
Shoutouts to @KDZ , even if you don't read this you got me hype for Superman and I say it with pride.
Shoutouts to @DarthArma , even if you are using Batman, you'll always be DarthArmor to me. I'll always root for you.
Shoutouts to @Grr for bringing down the hammer. Sucks you got the bad MU but you played it out as best you could.

@Shock , and everyone behind the scenes deserves props as well.

@Mr. Mileena , @RunwayMafia , and @SonicBoomBrad get shoutouts for being the best looking people on TYM in general.

shoutouts to the venue bar for having incredibly cheap drinks all weekend

shoutouts to bracketology yet again biting me in the ass where i have to play shitty matchups, oh well, it happens. good shit to @astronout for making me look terrible at injustice.

shoutouts to gears players for having an amazing turnout for their first showing at a big e event (32 teams for 4v4 = 128 players) and having a room that doesnt smell like shit. and for having some legitimately good looking girls.

This was my first time coming out to a major and I'm super happy about it.
Seriously, meeting and playing with all you guys was unbelievable, staying up all night playing till we we're kicked out of the venue room! So much Hype! Thanks to everyone I got to meet and play, it was a blast.

Gonna make it out to events whenever I can!

@AK SaltFace it was great to see you again! Every time i see you play, you have improved. Your match up knowledge is incredible and your adaptation is on point. From every game we played, you learned from every single thing I did and adjusted your game play accordingly. The super backdash, ohhhh lord. They honestly should have had microphones on us for our match on stream. I think every time we adjusted and did something on a good read we would say "Very nice!" "Great read!" I'm glad you made the drive to PA to compete! You had a great performance this weekend and I'll see you for final round!

@kinetic Oorochi (i don't think he's on tym) but damn, that lantern. It was great to finally play you. We got to run that match up deep and I think we both learned a lot from it (hey @DJTMIT, 5-5 :p ). Your set ups are godlike and I look forward to playing you again. Congratulations on top 8 in KI!

@AVN PTH jonnitti dat F3. Not a cross up, not a cross up. cross up. DAMNIT. It's always a good time to see you. Hotel shenangins wouldn't be the same without the hotdog.

@Mr Aquaman we didn't get to run sets this weekend which was upsetting but our conversations were top tier as usual. We got to be salty about not making it out of pools with our bottomfeeder characters. Oh the struggle we have ^_^

@Tom Brady bill, great showing this weekend. It's always a pleasure to troll you. Keep this roll going and let's take a East coast win at final round.

@EMPEROR_JUPITER great run this weekend. You MMH is always improving and turning more heads. I'm always impressed at your set ups. I'll teach you and @LanceMonsoon how to properly break the top of a soda can this week at the break.

@RM Chongo DAT NIGHTWINGGGG! Always great to see you. Our downplaying talks are great. Great run at WB making top 16 and almost bopping rico with those alt controls. I'm glad to hear that you'll be going to the break over the summer, it'll be great to have you there!

@Grr I keep improving on the GA-Bane mu. You better keep an eye out :p great job this weekend, you were so close to top 8, keep your head up though because you did great!


@AK Glass_Sword It was great to see you again. Your improvement since TFC blew my mind. That match up is so tough for me now. I couldn't help but laugh at your match vs insayne when you were up 150% and he blocked your instant overhead and you popped off about who the hell blocks that XD. And you also downplayed arrow for me! @AK elitegoomba would be proud! Also that reminds me, why the hell wasnt that wondergirl there -_- I'll see you two at FR!

@EMPEROR_OF_OUTWORLD I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR BLACK ADAM! Great seeing you and my feelings are still hurt for the toothless remark :'( Thankfully we got revenge in the PTH war with our hired assassin...the fox

@FOREVER KING tough weekend for us both. It was good to see you again. I swear the batman arrow MU gets worse and worse every time I see you...The hotel shenangins were fun and also you know too many characters. Hopefully I'll see you at FR.

@Frantastic23 my dark horse prediction. So close to top 8, you are finally showing people what you are made of. Your broken stick was completely worth it. Your run through pools was godlike. The cross up tech vs ares was hilarious, he teleports the wrong way and teleports right back out in a panic. I'm still pissed at you because the Huntress is not top tier. Ms. Smoke for days bro.

@DarthArma another major, another top 8. There's never a dull moment when you're at a major, local or whatever. It's great to see you and your gameplay is godlike. I should have got a picture of you sleeping at Denny's for TYM...

@KDZ Adaptation. My side bets are never wrong. I knew that you would pull through simply from when I played you. I took you to losers and you adapted to everything I did. You learn from every move your opponent makes and this major was 100% deserved. Hold dat to everyone who talked shit. Thankfully for every non-superman main, he's probably going to get nerfed again due to your win :D




And last but not least thank you @Mikemetroid and @Shock. These two put so much work into this weekend in setting up everything. Monitors, games, stream and the whole 9 yards. Winter Brawl ran great and I had no gripes. Thank you for letting me have a place to stay, I greatly appreciate it!


I know I probably missed people but there was so much happening this weekend. Thank to everyone who made this weekend great and congratulations to the top 8 placers!

@Orochi Sucks we had to face each other so early but the match we had was insane and Top 8 on KI congrats fellow Kinetic.

@7L thank you for believing in me and supporting me even before the tournament was going to happen. I definitely didn't want to let you down but I did I wanted to make top 8 so bad but came up short. It was awesome hanging with you as usual. Also I said Ms. SMOAK IS #2 Because she only rocks a ponytail in the show if she dressed down more she would take #1 so the Huntress is still #1 and Sara is the worst.

Thank you for coming out it was great seeing you play and you did really well no top 8 but 3 out of 4 is still impressive and 4 for 4 in top 16 placings. Hope to see you at the next.

Dude you played 100x better in casuals in injustice I expect that form the next time you play anyone in tournament you'll do great. Also my Johnny Cage is super cheap in Ultimate MKII.

@Tom Brady Bill as always it was great seeing you and awesome job this weekend showing the world who is still the Undisputed Aquaman of the World! Thank you for being the #1 superman fan in the world!

Dude I can't thank you enough for everything if it wasn't for you I would have never picked up injustice thank you for teaching me the game and thank you for the endless support. Thank you for the much needed practice against batman that online session we had helped and that 1hour and a half of playing before we drove 2 hours just to show up just in time for my first match helped out alot. Thank you Best Batman and Best Friend for everything.


@KDZ :D You KEPT THE DREAM ALIVE!!!!!! Amazing Job Phil you not only proved everyone wrong you even overcame your own doubts with dedication persistence and finesse! You still never stop inspiring me and impressing me. Thank you for teaching me everything I know with superman and always telling me it's never too late to pick him up. Thank you for the 3hour grind session Sinestro practice it really paid off this weekend. Thank you Best Superman and Best Friend for everything.

Thank you for everything. I can't express my gratitude enough you always support us no matter what game we are playing and support us even every week at our local. I'm glad to be apart of Kombat Network and to be in the same group as a person who help you get into fighting games. Thank you for being a amazing person and providing us with a stream and the injustice setups that we took down after Street Fighter finals were finished. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the fighting game community in general.

I probably missed people but there was so much happening this weekend. Thank you everyone who supported Injustice this weekend I hope you guys enjoyed it and I hope SCR is just as hype this coming weekend.

No words for how awesome this guy really is. Single handedly giving me my worse loss in tournament history, yet one of the best weekends ever. Casuals I remembered a few things about the MU and it's been lately I just cannot play like I do in casuals in tournament. I feel I can beat anyone in the world casually but tournament is my worst enemy right now. I can picture noone better to lose to as well as have a great time with, one of the classiest players in the community.
