Braindead
I want Kronika to step on my face
What happened during those 6 minutes is: Braindead spoke.I like how in the matter of 6 minutes, Pig goes "Eh, sounds lame..." to "Okay, fuck what I said, this looks sweet".
*cough*

I don't get the same 1on1 feel, in UT you've got dodging + walljumping while you never lose the ability to shoot.1-on-1 combat feels the same as Unreal in the way that it goes down, also the fact that ammo management isn't high on the list of priorities.
It could just be that both games feel good, but I think it's that most showdowns don't consist of shoot/strafe/take cover, like in UT jumping during fire fights is encouraged. It's really nothing like COD other that aiming and reloading a gun.
This is a great observation.I think it has partially to do with not wanting to punish you for staying alive and killing people, and for the most part I think it has to do with the AI bots guys. If you have limited ammo why bother killing them at all really.
Well you have wall jumping/running/hanging in Titanfall too. Obviously the amount of damage you can take isn't the same, but I do find that in a single engagement reloading isn't necessary, but if you don't feel it and think it leans more toward modern FPS I totally get that.I don't get the same 1on1 feel, in UT you've got dodging + walljumping while you never lose the ability to shoot.
The weapon are totally different as well, except if you only played with minigun in UT.
Can someone please explain what titanfall is? Thanks
It's a microsoft platform exclusive.Pretty lame it's an XB1 exclusive. Looks pretty fun.
There is no wallrunning or hanging in UT. Just double jumps, walljumping, dodges, hammerjumps and rocketjumps.Well you have wall jumping/running/hanging in Titanfall too. I think perhaps map size plays a part as well, like camping isn't something that will help you in Titanfall or UT, you just have to move and find shit, and when you do find and enemy it isn't a corridor shooter moment.
Right. Meant no Titans for us PSN members. It's a microsoft platform exclusive.
Yeah I know that stuff isn't in UT, but double Jumps, Walljumping etc. is still applicable to both. Your ability to survive in Titanfall is based on mobility in both Player vs. Player, Titan vs. Titan and Player vs. Titan. Double jumping and wall running is still a valid way to not die in a firefight in TF, even without slow projectile weaponry. There is no wallrunning or hanging in UT. Just double jumps, walljumping, dodges, hammerjumps and rocketjumps.
And again, the mobility in UT helped you survive against weaponry. Dodging rockets, flaks, shock combo's, etc. How is that similar to guns that have immediate hit registry and a pistol that locks(big lol, btw).
It's on PC too.Pretty lame it's an XB1 exclusive. Looks pretty fun.
Phrases like "most anticipated game of the year", "CoD killer", "really solid shooter" are being thrown around. Can someone please explain what titanfall is? Thanks
Wow, how epic.HOLY SHIT !!!!!!! GOOSEBUMPS!!!!
I believe when you kill more of the AI your titan build time is quicker. If you had limited ammo you would still want to take out the AI if your titan replenished your ammo.I think it has partially to do with not wanting to punish you for staying alive and killing people, and for the most part I think it has to do with the AI bots guys. If you have limited ammo why bother killing them at all really.
