Green Arrow Buffs That'll Never Happen

Hey I'm bored! Pick one:

- GA has unlimited arrows now. You just switch the arrow type, but you no longer have that 1x, 2x or 3x arrows bs. (No more less damage in combos or getting punished by half the cast!)
- Load arrow is now as fast as Batman trait bats. (Same as above!)
- Frozen Arrow no longer scales. (Yay now we have decent damage! Just like the rest of the cast!)
- Stinger works like KF's slide now. Safe on block too! (because fuck yeah!)
- We get the b23 frame trap back, we get f2d13 xx super on block back as well. (Sure why not!)
- Up Haven Blast has a 5 frame start up now. (finally, decent anti air!)
- Savage Blast as a wake up has invincibility frames during it's entire duration. (no more tears in the shower!)
- His backdash is now has good as Bladams. (seriously GA, a flip? A fucking flip?)
- F2d13 -> dash -> 223 is actually landable now. (NRS Offices: "how about we make him have poop damage and almost impossible to land bnbs?")
- B1 is a low now. (BRAIN EXPLOSION!!! PUPPIES AND CUPCAKES TO EVERYONE)
- Arrows now do 1% chip, fire arrows 3%.

Because these are the buffs Green Arrow deserves, but not the ones he needs.

I would honestly be happy with trait activation as fast as Batman's bats, and no scaling on ice arrow. That would give him a little more damage and load arrow whenever he wants practically. Oh and yeah a better backdash cuz that shit is garbage.

GA already has pretty great footsies.. Imagine how amazing they would be if he had a legit backdash.. That's the buff I would ask for because I think it would be fair. (Thank god we have savage blast lol) Unlimited arrows would be broken lol. Unlimited electric/fire/frost arrows? Game over.

But you know what would be broken? A character that has an unpunishable grab from full screen that she can spam over and over again, or how about a character that has a double hitting mid projectile that does 3% chip, that if he mbs it it leads him at massive frame advantage. Or how about a character with an instant special that could either be an overhead or a mid, and that there's a 50% chance you'll get punished for guessing. Or how about a character with a MB laser that becomes an overhead and leaves you full screen, or what about we give him 99% resets in the corner for 2-3 bars and interactables. Or or or a character that has a trait every 15 seconds that grants him either a 40% combo or 19% chip for free, and full screen 50/50s. You get the point lol. In this game, it'd be the least broken thing.

Swear to god I was thinking about this just the other day and almost made a thread. The more I play green arrow, the more fair this buff sounds to me. I could completely understand giving him a limited number of arrows and requiring him to trait up if they were one of the best zoning tools in the game, but they simply aren't.
It makes zero sense that we should have to stick our neck out every 2-3 shots and reload when characters like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Zod, etc. can all throw out similar projectiles any time of day they please that all do similar or much greater amounts of damage and chip.
Besides, its not like we can freeze someone twice in a combo anyway, and the vortex still requires you to give up damage.

What I really don't understand is why GA's freeze doesn't last longer. In a lot of situations a trade doesn't even lead to any damage because you can't get to them in time. Having a longer freeze wouldn't do anything but guarantee some well earned damage.

Brb getting the best jump normal in the game, top 3 projectile, frame traps in 3 different blockstrings, top 3 trait in the game, and twice as much damage as green arrow gets without the need of gimmicky setups or bars.
