The first thing i did after playing glacius with sabredoge is go to practise mode and find a way to deal with that shit. Found the same stuff. Eclipse also works.

1. It really isn't hard to react to, if the Glacius player is going to hit you while you're on the ground, there really isn't much room for him to use it, at each range, the timing he HAS to do it to hit you is the same, experience against the character just plants the anti air timing in your mind eventually.

2. There isn't really any kind of mind games he can do either, your low fierce recovers so fast, it's impossible for him to wiff punish. The chance of him empty jumping and you maybe blocking a grounded medium is totally worth making him think twice before doing an air normal EVERY time.

Example: I main Glacius and this how I deal with this and play mind games. When you have a little space and jump to perform an air kick the opponent can hit you out of it sometimes. However, if you have hail out now you can cover you air kicks. Once this happens the opponent usally just waits to block both the air kick and the hail.

Once the opponent is content blocking hit them with unblockable shatter. If they jump the shatter they get hit by hail. This leads to the opponent playing your style if you play well. One way to really counter this is with meter but the opponent won't always have meter to burn.

Good players will put a krimp in Glacius air game with the footage shown here, but it's not a one way street Glacius does have an answer for it.

I don't sit and block hail though, it's piss easy to avoid. It's all about getting in at the end of the day.

It differs man, we tend to play in the evenings, but lately we've been avoiding online somewhat due to us having a tournament tommorow.

I play Mustards Glacius every day, I'm aware of the options he has.

True, it is about getting in but when I fight mirror matches with Glacius the thing that gets me is which hail is active over his head. The angle at which hail travels is only revealed after hail is released. If I could tell which hail is over his head that would make it much easier to jump anywhere on screen.

I understand what your saying but how do you deal with multiple angles of hail? I mean how do you tell which one it is? This is what gets me in trouble.

it won't be streamed due to the venue not having internet, but UnequalledMedia are going to be recording everything and then broadcasting it live on Monday instead.
