When I saw the title I thought it would about people doing stupid or silly things on their birthdays. Sort of like Happy Birthday slips of the day, epic birthday fails, or something like that. Now that I think about, Slips' name is a treasure trove of misunderstandings.

For example, if I were to go to Slips and say "let's play slips", he might construe it to mean I am bringing up the topic of documentaries of personalized recordings of video games playthroughs spiced up with shenanigans and tomfoolery, instead of the actual meaning which is engaging in such experiences ourselves.

Even worse, if say I were to remark to Slips that "we should go have sex slips" he possibly could translate that to mean we should engage in a new sexual activity described by novel lingo and desire that I show my presumably new sex move. The true meaning, of course, is having vanilla with an addition of 50/50's. (No homo only showing an example besides I could never say that or do that and anyways I never even seriously thought about actually doing it so if you thought that you should stop right now and backtrack. For real)
