in damage potential, yes. Supes is his equal in that regard, but can also zone somewhat (at least on the West Coast) and isn't as one dimensional as Grundy. But he'd be fun, I'm sure.

Also, in BS. He kan get you in kommand grab set ups. Makes you hesitate in playing footsies because of WC (similar to Cyrax's Net). Maybe it's because I'm used to Krayzie's rushdown type of Cyrax, but Grundy fits.

Superman is more like Jax on Krack (Doomsday kinda fits too). Easy ways in and resets in the korner. Fast 8 frame move and dominant footsies that kan seem mediocre to some, for some reason.. Also, they both have slow but powerful zoning...
