A discussion about food combinations and food you think is weird

So I'm from New Zealand and I was discussing food with my American friend over Xbox live, during this conversation I mentioned meat pies. He said he thinks the idea of having meat in a pie is madness and has never had the opportunity to enjoy a good steak and bacon, mince and cheese or bacon and egg pie us new zealanders love so much. So my question to you is, does a meat pie sound disgusting to you? Also I want to ask what food combinations people have. My friends dad soaks his bread in vinegar and eats the soggy bread with pickles, I want to know if anyone can top that weird food combination. I want to know what kind of food combinations other people on this site eat and maybe find a new awesome food combination I might like.

Two pieces of bread, pour maple syrup, put together, enjoy.

Meat pie, nah...that don't sound gross at all. Food is food, I love it all. Except spinach, that stuff kills me. :p

In Nigeria they have meat pie as well, but it's not exactly a pie. Just flour rolled up in various meat, and baked or something like that. Still pretty good. As for weirder foods, I don't really have them. Although in the past I've seen my friends eat Pizza and dip it in ranch, which to me looked disgusting. But eh, can't knock till you try it....and I will never try it lol.

What's a pop tart?
It's a baked pastry that has various different fillings inside it and some frosting on the outside. They can be fruity fillings like strawberry or blueberry to brown sugar and cinnamon to even more like oreo and smores filling.

What's a pop tart?
Edit: Killphil has explained it.

Anyway, the image below is of a pop tart with chocolate and marshmallow filling.

...Americans are the worst people on Earth when it comes to eating exotic foods.
I agree. I'm so boring when it comes to food.

Though I have been told a story about this one guy who liked to eat his cereal with orange juice instead of milk.

Man that pop tart thing looks really strange. Do Americans eat them often?
poptarts are only good to eat once in a really long while. theyre basically just sugar

during my growth spurt peak I ate 20+ dollars on foodcourt food. my meal from an italian and a japanese service consisted of something like eel w/rice, spaghetti, soup, garlic bread... it was a while ago but i remember it cause its a big meal even for now

I mean, are we talking white rice here or fried? I imagine it would taste fine either way, but white rice has no flavor to begin with. x.x

I enjoy eating Ramen noodles uncooked haha. Crush up the noodles, open package, dump in seasoning, shake and enjoy.
