Chef is right about one thing, The Injustice scene as a whole is seriously lacking in high level reps for the known top tier characters. Which to me the reason is obvious (they are all boring AF) But still, i find it annoying that we have to deal with it and noone else does and i'm sure that is why Chef is going on about this whole thing

I guess. I dunno, its just imo that those "top 3" phase into the same area as the "top 10", where basically theres a lot more threats and people haven't fought them at all. Like even if AM and them aren't represented well, its not like they have a mysterious gameplan. They are characters most people know the MU to because of pre-patch.

im not going to deny that not knowing how to fight bane hawgirl zatanna ect isn't a big deal, but they all have hard counters where as Superman, aquaman Batman ect do not

inb4 aquaman bodies Batman. no level up the MU isn't worse than 6-4. Rebelo

You could have said that about my Kabal training partner. Anyone going to tell me I shouldn't have an opinion about the Kitana vs. Kabal matchup?

Bane doesn't have any "hard counters", theres a disputable one but its only if that player knows exactly what they're doing all the time.

All I'm saying is that while those top tiers are more solid all around, as you've said they aren't represented well and their tools are already well known. Coming from pre-patch everyone has the AM, BA, and Supes MUs on lock. They have a huge mass of 5-5 MUs and that's where knowledge comes in. Everyone knows them, they don't know everyone else.

wait, this isn't calling out your scene i'm just saying its annoying that noone else plays these characters that i (we) have to deal with all the time. who are all super fucking boring and ruin that game for me. and probably others

ok gotcha. i was using that against doombawk's point of nobody knowing how to fight bane and other relative unkowns. We have people that play those characters too, just not at the level of Mx ppj ect and likewise for everyone else regarding the top tier

Clark Kent is a hard counter to Bane. That match up is godawful.

People say that, I don't see it.
But then again I spent the last 35 minutes of the GGA stream watching Max body out a pretty decent superman 17-4.

Also they say its like 4-6 at worst, and I trust the top Banes more than I do the top Brads.

i would say Flash is a much bigger problem for Bane than Superman is

like i don't even see how that MU can be won by Bane. you have shit options in every scenario and nothing that makes you good even works on Flash

Basically this. Flash is our only disputable 3-7 MU atm, but that requires the Flash to play a very specific way so that's why its disputable. Like the flash has to know exactly what to do and when for him to have that big of an advantage. Its like Bane vs GA, Its a 7-3 but only if the Bane player plays that MU in the specific way it has to be played (which is basically yolo)

We can win it, its not easy or fun but its definitely possible since Flash is dependent on meter to wake-up. If flash has no meter, you can BP him and theres not much he can do. Also Flash has a disadvantage in that he actually needs to be close to Bane.
