It's partially my fault that Slips didn't show up. I kept him up till 11am making him play Doom 3 in a 6 hour straight gaming session. Nothing like an emo cure of saving the earth from an extra-dimensional invasion.

This is definitely the weirdest thing I've heard in a long time. That game is old as dirt at this point hahahaha. I remember playing through Doom III in college, and I graduated in 2005.

Well it's pretty obnoxious to be told you're not allowed to talk about the game if you haven't met your personal standard for a "complete meta", especially when we've been in the grand finals of the two big tournaments since the patch dropped.

Who made you the judge of if a scene's meta is complete enough? Why can you decide if we're allowed to discuss this game? You criticize us for being matchup cops(despite the fact that GGA actually barely posts MU or tier stuff) when you're acting like region meta cop. How are you going to say we talk too much and shouldn't have opinions about how this game works when we've had success nationally twice now? Get off your WNF high horse man.

PPJ won the biggest tournament in this version of the game and has posted less matchup and tier talk in his TYM career than you have in a week, often for characters you don't even main, and you're going to tell us to be quiet? The funny thing is I rarely lose to Bane. I just don't like the anxiety, and fear while in the corner. I don't feel in control. The victories are not satisfying. One minute I'm working on a perfect then WHOOPS DROPPED YOUR COMBO? *Level 3 venom* HOPE YOU WEREN'T PLANNING ON PLAYING FOOTSIES!

Dude, pointing that out that our best players don't use top tier isn't the problem. It's saying we shouldn't be part of the conversation because of it. As if were incapable of putting in the work to know what's going on, either through research or having alts we play off stream. This is what GGA has been doing for years.
