I'll remember this terrible attempt from an awful WW player just in case I do decide to play KI so I body u lol
I've never seen a fighting game that was truly complete upon initial release. I think it's hard to realistically release a complete fighting game, in developing fighting games I feel that scope creep can easily take over and continually delay completion. Fortunately we live in a time where games can be fixed by update patches. Unfortunately that means companies can use that notion to their benefit to release an unfinished product. It's a matter of opinion as to which companies abuse this the most. Personally I don't feel like KI is abusing it as much as people make it sound. This is because they have yet to really make any false promises, they have been upfront and honest with what's available and what's coming. And their DLC is not of the type where all of the data is already on the disk and they are just strategically planning out releases for additional costs to their customers. Instead their DLC is new and what they have been actively developing. KI for their entire current roster, a great training mode and solid online is 20$. That's a fair price for what you currently get. Is it worth 60$+? Most def not.

HKD yes but some longer start up interactables can still be avoided w character w fully invincible wake ups (not ZOD :p )

U can MB b3 cancel forward/back dash and punish even when trait is out

No one does this , I practiced it when I saw Dave was in my pool

Okay, I hate to agree with him, but Batman's jump (And I think several others) force some characters to vary their AA timings to get a AA punish off.

I know as Joker my best bet to beat a Batman j2 is to j1 since my godlike D2 will *usually* whiff.

I mean for the most part though, all D2s will anti-air all aerials, but there are some exceptions.



Also it is possible to make some interactibles unavoidable, especially with characters like Zod, Sinestro, Lex, Joker etc.


I'm not saying that's a bad thing and I have an undying love for Injustice, but let's not spread misinformation for the sake of an argument.

Regardless of the fact that this game kind of reminds me of the look and feel of SF4 which i dont really play..I feel like the whole Xone exclusivity thing killed the game a bit. If they would have went for X360, PC, and Xone there might have been a better chance for people to enjoy the game.

They did this with titanfall (regardless of the issue with 6v6 as of now) but this was a smart move. The point of this is that they KNEW that the money was on the X360 copies...

If it was put on the X360 i think people would have been more inclined to try it, thus word of mouth spreads.

honestly right now i dont really know anyone with and Xone near by..most people are still playing X360 or have sold it to jump ship to ps4..and the people that i do know who have one as sitting around with their Xone's not playing games asking other people why they're still on X360 or why they're going to ps4...

It's a combination of a lot of things really. Combo system, animations, neutral game, breakers.

The neutral game is a lot like SF, but with a faster pace, and the increased pace removes a lot of the on the edge of your seat tensions that a good SF match will give. Obviously KI is a much more combo focused game then SF, so this is to be expected, and would be fine, but I just find the combos to be boring and repetitive. This is because of combo structure and animations, all the combos just come together to look like one long string of normals, and they all just kind of look the same. The specials and super moves end up just looking like normals repeated over and over again. It just lacks visual combo variety that other combo based fighting games have, like most anime games, Marvel, and even Injustice/MK.

Also the problem of combo breakers, which is maybe more of a personal gripe, as I hate them in everything, they just break all the momentum of a fight.

I don't know, maybe if I played it and got really knowledgeable about all the characters, their normals/chains/links and just knew far more about the game, it would draw me in more. Similar to a lot of 3D games which just look like an awkward mess if you don't really know what to look for.

The game is deeper than that, u dash back or under and whiff punish jump attacks

Go watch top 8 me vs salt face and tell me you didn't see him do that?

HE AA W A 40% combo ZOD ji1 that's just as potent as bane , or GL ji1, etc

AA isn't just d2s , it's damaging him from attempting them

Red eyes do U know every ji2 (even catwoman) in block is completely punishable by backdashing the 50/50 Follow up and whiff punishing it??

Yeah, I can actually see where you're coming from. But if you do actually get to play and learn the game so you appreciate what is actually going on, I'm willing to bet you would enjoy watching it a LOT more. But that's the main issue KI has.... not everyone can play it right now, which is why I wish people would just be patient :(. It really is a verrry good that doesn't need to die

Fair enough and all valid points. To the people that aren't knowledgable about the game, I can see how it would look repetetive. The real fun in viewing the game IMO is when you know whats exactly going on and when you can actually realize the mindgames that are being played during the combos. This scenario kinda reminds me of SFxT.

Its a great unfinished game (about 20%-25%) that might not be cared about the way it should be when it's 100% finally finished in a year

I would agree with this in the sense that the game has a relatively small cast and by the time the NEXT character is released people may have gotten tired of SabrewulfSabrewulf. Killer Instinct will most definitely be at EVO... this is a no-brainer. EVO will light some torches for the game.

i could AA perfectly with WW pig, i dont like the game because its unbalanced. stop trying to call me out never did i say WW sucked at AA i said she could AA anything she wants.
