Apex Injustice. Hypest matches consensus?

Mirrors, extreme patience, YOLO, armor the armor, this tourney had it all. However, for some matches- being hype are based on the matches themselves, and others on the circumstances leading up to the match. Some prefer the back story, some prefer the plot. Some prefer the Killer, others prefer the Frost.

I would like to congratulate all of the players, and would really really hope all of the competitors realize how much entertainment they provided, and how even if they went home, they have every reason to have had a great time. I also THINK this tournament ran pretty smoothly based on player feedback on stream, as well as the over all demeanor of the players.

Now let's discuss the aftermath.

I'm not even ashamed to vote for Jupiter.

That last match was more hype than most. The guy took a character who is arguably the best, and removed any doubt.
I didn't even know who he was (I've seen him here and there), and now I do. In my book, thats what makes for a great match.

One so hype, so extreme, that last match was drop dropping amount of awe that you could walk in a nobody and walk out a king.

Good shit to the guy. I don't know his tag but I'd buy him a steak dinner.

I gotta say I thought DTN had extremely high caliber matches, but today I was glued to my seat.

I missed the whole tournament ffs. So this thread is great because now I know which matches I should watch (if I decided that I don't want to watch the whole thing, which is doubtful.)

Revolver vs. anybody
Sonic Fox vs. anybody
Jupiter vs. REO
Arma's matches always deliver as well, without fail

There's almost too much hype to pick from. I was just telling Blake that I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack now during every Injustice tournament because there are so many close matches and unbelievable endings.

wow i just found this thread now, lol. and me vs rico(first game of top 8) was by far the hypest. me vs reo was cool too because everyone wanted the mirror to happen lol. both times vs rico i was basically at chip out too

@HazeJupiter vs Rico before Grand Finals was my favorite match. Martian Manhunter is really hype to watch despite what most people think about the character.

Jupiter vs. REO. The match TYM needed/wanted to see, and more then likely the outcome most people did not expect to see. That is the definition of hype.
