I always land on my feet!
Meow! Gotham's queen of crime reclaims her throne as Bane's 3 week reign of terror comes to an end. With Max being eliminated early in losers top 8 by Slips the finals of the tournament came down to one of two historic outcomes: Either Jeremiah would win his first GBS and become the latest new player to win since October or 16 Bit(just letting everyone know that's me) would break the tie with Max and regain the record for most GBS victories. Although Jeremiah had sent me to losers in winners finals with a clear 3-1 victory the first set of grand finals were a swift 3-0 for me. At first the reset went as poorly for Jeremiah as the first set did but on the brink of losing 6 straight Jeremiah regained his composer, won game 3 and played a very close final game before ultimately falling and giving Catwoman her 7th GBS championship.
Doomsday is here! After over a month using Green Arrow and other alts Saucy Jack had unleashed the Kryptonian beast at Frosty Faustings and placed top 8. Now the ultimate weapon returns to GBS and his first tournament back was a rousing success. Doomie began the night winning a close battle against Good Ol' Rational Jim before facing off against Max's Bane in a battle of the immovable object vs. the irresistible force. Saucy Jack won, earning him a bonus bounty point and a ticket to top 8 winners for the first time in season 2. His run in the winners bracket would come to an end in a hard fought nail biter Doomsday mirror against Jeremiah but Jack fared well in the losers bracket, defeating NEC Champion PPJ's new Martian Manhunter before losing to the slippery Zed Blade Champion Slips.
Also in the bracket, a dream match came true when Pantychrist and Don "Kombat Kannibal" Cox finally met in tournament. It looked more like a game of Call of Duty with both exchanging gun fire and zoning so hard it'd make M2Dave blush. Fill Pops got bodied but was declared the best Lobo by 3 different EVO top 8 finalists, McCutty Mayhem woke up every time against Max, and Slips had a much deserved victory against Catwoman stolen from him Pokchop style....twice.

As usual shout outs to the entrants and the stream monsters. Please continue to support GGA as we head into the final week of KIT practice and the final 4 weeks of GBS season 2. For the past 6 weeks Catwoman and Bane have dominated GBS. Who can stop us as we enter this final stretch?
