Hey everyone,
With the recent good news of MK trilogy/Injustice and KI being present at a new weekly in the US, I thought now would be a great time to see if people are interested in bringing back the games we love here in the UK again.
Killer instinct is looking to have a great start here, with quite a hefty number of eager players playing online, attending London casuals, and expressing interest in the tournament at Namco funscape London next month. (http://unequalledmedia.com/ki/ <- Info for the tournament found here)
Injustice obviously still has quite a decent online scene of players, many of which message me personally asking about tournaments that might be around, and obviously I keep having to tell them there is nothing coming up in the near future, and to my surprise, I get possibly more of these kinds of messages regarding MK, as it seems to be the more popular of the two over here.
Considering all 3 games have players, and now the best possible venue for monthlies/bi monthlies has been well established in London (the heart of gaming) it seems the obvious plan to simply host our own tournaments for our own games there.
This thread is purely to see if there is any interest at all in bringing MK back, kicking Injustice into gear again, and help KI have an even healthier start than it already has, let's get some discussion going on what you guys would want in a tournament in order to get down to one here!
The heart of gaming has a venue entrance fee, and you would pay tournament entry to each game you wanted to enter, that's all, no hidden fees, alot of parking, easy access via tube, and they have all the setups we'd need already there.
I am super serious about this, it will be co hosted by Ketchup also, but obviously I will only do so if the numbers are there.
