Blue Blurs for Life!
My mind is still reeling from the overload of hype, so I just had to release this thread. We haven't got to watch Top 8 yet and we're already amazed by everything that Defend The North had to offer!
Once again, a major thank-you goes out to Sabin for backing our community via his stream at www.twitch.tv/nycfurby. I have no doubt that were it not for him, the community's love for the game wouldn't have had a chance to shine brilliantly at Defend The North.
Discuss your favorite moments here! I'm talking about moments that had you screaming at your TV until your voice went hoarse, which is what happened to me.
For me, it's definitely when rev0lver fought R.E.O. in the Winner's Bracket. This man just shows you all how Lex Luthor is meant to be played. To go down to the wire against a crazy character like Martian Manhunter, especially when REO is the one controlling the Martian, is concrete evidence that Injustice has limitless surprises through its characters! Never count anybody out, guys!
Another would have to be when the last spot in the Top 8 came down to a struggle between Jonnitti's Deathstroke and Mr Aquaman 's Ares, two characters that you don't often see in the Top 8 of a tournament. I've seen that some people were hoping Deathstroke would win so they could put General M2Dave on blast, only for their dreams to be ended by the God of War. I applaud the comeback, Mr Aquaman! RM!
