Really? Can you put like a link here showing the changes to USF4? And yes Durvalis and I will shoot you an invite whenever we are on.

Does anyone else on the team play SSF4?

Yeah but here is everything for each character:

http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2013/aug/07/ultra-street-fighter-4-character-change-recap-akuma-cammy-ryu-dudley-rose-oni-and-much-more/

Also Akuma's changes:

Jump back air fireball recovery extended by two frames
- c.hk cancel into Ultra no longer possible
- HP + MP SRK FADC only possible on the first hit
- HP SRK invulnerability frames reduced from 6f to 5f
- Demon flip dive kick hurtbox extended 10% (invoking possible trades and potentially making it lose/trade to some attacks it currently beats
- cs.mk forces stand
- Vacuum effect of EX tatsu fixed

This really hurts Akuma's vortex game. Gone from Top Tier to mid tier at best or low tier. He didn't deserve all them nerfs. So I might switch him out for Ken now. Time to enter Flowchart Ken Academy lol.

However yeah man, send me an invite to SSF4 AE whenever you are on. This game is too fun.

Also this right here is funny:

You will serve me in The Netherrealm
I am going to be taking Street Fighter seriously when USF4 drops.

Bear in mind, I have no SF4 background at all.

Challenge Accepted.

Since I got my monitor I've been putting my stick to use on my 360 to try and get better at SF. Definitely hard to get the timing down, but the trials seem to be helping a bit. Anybody else mess around with trials, and is it a good way to learn how to play with that given character?

SF is my shit! Lol no but seriously I'm always down to play some street fighter Everlast_724 your Guy is showing some improvement. Gurimmjaw - go easy on us, we're noobs. Lol
I can't make no promises but maybe lol. You don't want none of this Akuma or Ken....or Vega and Balrog lol.

Yeah the trials are good to get an idea of the combos you would use but most of them are not that viable to use. Who interests you in the game?

Although I know he's a high execution character (or so I've heard) I'd really like to pick up Evil Ryu. I think he's really fun to play.

Evil Ryu not really that much of high execution. Characters like Gen, Chun Li, Juri I classify as high execution and a few others too. Though if you just starting out I do recommend using Ken or Ryu so you get the basics of how the mechanics work as they are beginner characters.

Well not too bad though you need to do more pressure with him. My thoughts of you playing him...hmmm well you have to know he is a very high executional character. Im not exactly sure on what your style is with characters but maybe your style more for a character who can apply rushdown and zoning a hybrid type of character. Example like Akuma.

Well I don't know much about the game itself. I did not know he is a high execution character. I just figured I'm a low execution player. Lol. To be honest I was drawn to him as a character more than the style. I have only tried to understand the way the game works for like a week or so. I really don't know what I am doing. I am a total noob. That being said after watching the video above I feel like I'm doing well for a 1 week noob. Lol. I do play akuma and ryu. I consider them my alts. I am not getting serious about the game until the drop of USF4, I just want to get an understand for the mechanics, also the game is hella fun.

Yes Guy is a very high executional character. Well if you want a bit of help I can help you out if you want. One thing is don't ever keep jumping im telling you this will get punished lol. People will want you to jump towards them and they will Anti air you. When you do jump think carefully when you do it.

If you want to get the understanding of the mechanics, my advice to you would be to use a beginner character for awhile. Beginner characters are there for that. It will help you out a lot trust me.

Who do you classify as beginner characters? Ryu and shotos?
Ryu and Ken are the ones who are mainly classified as beginner characters due to them being easy to use and teach you the fundamentals of the game so that why I recommend new players to pick one of these. Beginner characters are Ryu, Ken, and Sagat. For charge characters Guile, and Balrog....Maybe M.Bison as well.

Some say Juri is beginner friendly too but I disagree with that since with her to really maximize her potential you have to charge her fireballs.

Also if anyone interested in learning the game further someone posted videos for SSF4 but applies to AE as well.

can you guys break down Pedestro's vortex for me? pweaze?
Should go like something like this. Normally done after B12~shackles then j2. When you learn him more, try soing B13, B3, J3, B12~shackles. Now you can do this while they're in hitstun.

Cross Up- J3~Axe, D2, B12~Shackles, J2.
Non Cross Up- Axe, D2, B12~ Shackles, J2.

Now just repeat the process. Making your axe look ambiguous helps a ton.

Also, you can send your opponent full screen with a J2, F2D13. And you're safe on block after the B12.

I can show you in training mode tomorrow.
