I'm having a issue that's really annoying about this game right now. It's when my shadow move is cancelled by a jab or some normal. Why is a normal move canceling out a super move? This is blowing my mind right now.
Hit priority on some meaty normals. Also depends on the shadow move. For example Thunders has a hit of armor and is great for catching people pushing buttons.

Shadow moves aren't invulnerable. You can stuff them if a normal is about to collide with a character before the active frames of the shadow moves begin.
