Ask the press and they would agree that the Saturday night top 16 match at the Northeast Championships was arguably one of the most hype matches of the Injustice: Gods Among Us tournament. It was EMPR_THEO's Superman vs RDK|Tyrant's Solomon Grundy. What made this match so hype? Well, for one it was pitting Solomon Grundy against Superman and second... you have to watch and see for yourself!

That's RDK|Tyrant for you. He has the highest clutch factor I've ever seen which makes him extremely entertaining to watch. It seems the more pressure he has on him the more dangerous he becomes. I love that kid.

I like to think it was my hoodie design that gave Tyrant the power he needed.

Kidding aside though, my friends and I were huddled around the TV watching this whole thing play out live and we were all rooting for Tyrant, but nearing the end we all realized it wasn't looking good. Then the turn started and everyone started yelling "BAM BAM BAM" in sync with his ground pounds and then when he pulled it out at the last minute we all went absolutely ballistic. Not since Justin Wong's comeback at EVO against ChrisG have I gotten that hype. This was far and away the best match in pools on saturday, and that's saying a lot considering just how many hype matches there were on stream.
