Nightwing In Retirement
There is a lot to be thankful for these days, but nobody has been less thankful about the inclusion of Superman in Injustice than Wonder Chief. After a long struggle against the Kryptonian, Wonder Chief has finally defeated his demon and won a WNF!
As this week's WNF fell the day before Thanksgiving, it was a special one. Instead of it's usual lineup, WNF hosted AE, Injustice, UMVC3, and the very first KI tournament of Super Arcade. The majority of the KI entrants were SoCal Injustice players, so check out the archive if you'd like some strong KI play from some of SoCal's finest, and a very dominating Sabrewulf in SoCal's Nightwing player Steeeeve! The Reckoning of Wonder Chief:
This week Chef set out to prove once and for all that Superman wasn't his master, and he took fantastic strides in doing so, defeating Emperor Theo in the winners bracket, as well as grand finals in a set you absolutely need to watch.
Not only did Chef seek to prove his strong Black Adam play, but showed the world that under the tutelage of Cage Redfield his Lobo was a force to be reckoned with, defeating Krayzie's Catwoman in winners finals with the character.
All in all WNF was a great watch, and SoCal looks forward to more great matches next week at WNF as well as NEC.
