Maxter placing top 2 in the modern era shows 2 things: He's a great player. Cyrax is a great character. Again, I have zero idea why you think this argument is relevant. It's as if you're trying to prove to me that Cyrax is a great character. Well...I know he is. He's tied with Kenshi for 2nd place IMO. But since you brought up Maxter, ask him about all those times he lost to REO's Kabal and Jr's Kabal. Ask Noobe, Han, and other Cyrax players about losing to Kabals all the time.

AK Pig Of The Hut if Kabal runs the game or not. I mean nobody denies that REO is by far the best Kabal, but ask Pig how much money he's lost because of Kabal, and not just REO's. Pig has lost to CD Jr's Kabal (EVO), Detroit's Kabal (SCR or NCR, can't remember), Cat's Kabal (Final Round), and PL's Kabal (CEO). That's pretty much every single top Kabal in the game. Does any of that mean Kenshi isn't a great character or Pig isn't a great player? Hell, we're talking about the Darth Vader of the game in Pig (as coined by Tom Brady), playing the second best character in the game.
Jr was using Jax (and Rain) and PL was playing KL since before the final patch. Those were their mains. Once it was obvious that Kabal was running the game (since we both agree that it takes time for this to become obvious, as evidenced by you suggesting that with time, we might see that with MMH), they picked up Kabal as an alt. How does that disprove Kabal's dominance?
Why did Detroit feel the need to switch from Shang to Kabal, despite making every top 8 at every tournament he ever attended with Shang?
I really don't understand this argument, and its purpose (other than the obligatory REO ass kissing fest, despite no one every denying he's the best MK player ever). What tool does Kabal lack? What match-up does he lose? What match-up does he go even in? The answers are "nothing," "none" and "more than likely none," respectively.
