EMPEROR JUPITER wins Injustice: Gods Among Us at The Break Weekly #235!

Another crazy tournament at the Break Weekly scene in New Jersey has reached a conclusion that very few have expected! It was only a few weeks ago that Emperor Jupiter - also known as HazeJupiter from the TYM forums - made his tournament debut, and now he has taken EMP DarthArma 's place as the Injustice champion by repeating Arma's triumph from last week: defeating RG Rico Suave in Grand Finals to seal his victory! As of now, this win is being regarded as what appears to be the first local tournament win for Martian Manhunter, a sign that the era of the Martians is about to begin! Congratulations to Jupiter for his achievement.

After his fall from the Winner's Bracket at the hands of EMP Riyo, Rico Suave was confronted with a familiar rival from their numerous clashes in the Break Weekly's Grand Finals: EMP KDZ. Not one to be outdone, Rico defeated KDZ once again and exacted revenge against Darth Arma for his loss from the previous week in order to reach the Grand Finals, only to succumb to Jupiter's Martian Manhunter. The furious struggle to rise to the top brought out the best within every player who attended this tournament, and the seeds have been planted for new rivalries to take form!

Tragically, only the Loser's and Grand Finals from the Break Weekly's Injustice tournament were brought to the stream while the rest of the matches remained within the knowledge of those who were at the venue. But as always, quality surpasses quantity! Below are the two videos with the matches you will not want to miss! Grab some snacks and enjoy them!

I was waiting for the Martian era to begin. I don't know if I am glad or not. I was the one who said he would stick with martian regardless of his tier placement, and thought a lot of people will leave him when he gets nerfed, so I can be special:) now I am glad he wins tournaments, but I feel a lot of people will use him now. Maybe I should play with my Zod more:/
Congratulations to Jupiter though!!! A great win, one of the many to come.

congrats to empr jupiter hope to see him do well at NEC!!! hes becoming quite the problem in the offline scene lately. also seems like emperors are killing the local scenes, theo at wnf, max at gga and now jupiter here. awesome!!

Yeah I think Jupiter's been going to the break for a few weeks now, he's been going to tournaments in MK for a while too.

Rico's spent the whole past week playing KI so idk if that has anything to do with it. Not to discredit his win but yeah. Too many people might be doing this so close to NEC haha
