I'm pretty sure that only the last hit of the (forgot the name of the move) qcfLP can be charged. I think you'd be pretty vulnerable at that point, if you're looking for a long block-string.

You could start the special with any of the qcf punches and cancel into the heavy charge. But the frame data says that youre only -1 on block when you start it off with the qcfLP. I got it to the corner to where it looks like theres only a 3 to 4 frame gap between charge and let go. I don't know for sure because I need to test this out with another person but try it out. Go to the corner then put the ai to crouch and block all. The ai will block hi then crouch (meaning thats when the opponent would be abe to move)

c.LK c.LK xx Flick Flack is a nice confirm.

Haven't figured out what her crush move(s) are. Maybe QCF xx Kick crushes highs. I haven't been been able to DP or anti-air properly on XB1 pad. I think the dpad sucks and I was stuck playing on the analog stick the whole time. s.HK might air crush or just anti-air well.

I cannot get this out of my head during the portion of her Ultra combo where she's raving her weapons around

I'm having a lotta fun with this so far. Not really that frustrating to learn either IMO although the worst characters I've felt I had to go against were Sadira and Sabrewulf.

Thunder has some dirty shit. Jago is 5-5, can't spam slide or you get low crushed by wind kick and get combo'd into oblivion. Orchid mauls Glacius possibly and everything else is a toss up.

I played a tough Orchid last night. After the Ichi Ni San, you can kit MP for overhead, or LP for low hit. It comes fast, so it is hard to get right the high or low block every time. If I shadow countered, he would somehow do a quick jab to end my counter. When I got both blocks working, he would hold FP after the second hit of the Ichi Ni San and if I didn't react, letting go of FP is unblockable. It was very nice to see!

I feel like Orchid is the most honest character in this game.
Hopefully we'll get to see some dirty shit at NEC otherwise I'll probably trade her out for Sabre.

I'm having a lot of trouble punishing other characters with her after blockstun.
It's more the dpad than her though! I can't seem to do (hcf) out of crouch.

Shes one of the best with her low-high and high low mix ups plus instict mode makes them safe!

what are you guys doing to people that spam Jago's windkick+mash? Everything is too slow to punish. Neutral jump is ok but if caught she seems to get flat footed grounded for combos which is weird to me

^just run after them and block the windkicks. lol they jump backwards the whole game so air throw that shit until theyre in the corner and become orchids bitch

I'm for real hoping they release some form of cybergoth costume for her. My dreams will come true.

I know her normals aren't really that great, but what normals are you guys using for footsies? I find myself using st.HP into Rekka mixup to stop opponents from moving forward.

cr.MP to Medium Ichi is good to see if they can block overheads, cr.MK to Flick Flack (runner would be good to but currently air buster comes out too often for me with the standard controller)

God dammit I just got back on today and you can't do it anymore!!, I swear to the lord almighty you could do it. I'm going through my replays to see if it saved anywhere. But I tested it, Jump in AD, FF, AD , FF,FF,AD, Ender. and it was working. I like checked and checked. I wasn't just doing opener into linker.

THIS GAME IS MAKING ME THINK I"M FUCKIN CRAZY!!!
