The advice I can give anyone in terms of marriage is summed up in one key word that I'm sure many others will echo:
Compromise.
Compromise, compromise, compromise. It's not all about you. It's not all about them. It's not all about the two of you either (in relation to each other's families and kids etc.). It' about balance, understanding and communicating. Not every couple is the same. What may shift the balance for one, may be perfect for another. You won't know this without communication. If you come into the marriage with the mindeset of said compromise, your success rate is higher.
That's enough serious advice from Uncle Ricky.
Now onto the MU.
Kabal is fast. Skarlet controls blood. Why would these be relevant when you consider the MU is marriage and not combat? Automatically, each character's tools are dismissed.
On a base level: Kabal's one liners and ego make him prime bachelor candidate. Skarlet is a ninja and hides her face, this can be seen to show that she'll keep a lot to herself in the marriage. She may be more secretive. She won't openly tell Kabal his one liners are corny, hurting his pride juuuust enough to humble him. Instead, she enables him, causing him to be overpowered and wondering where it all went wrong. As his ego is also a factor, Kabal will blame others but not suspect himself. He will ex nomad dash away from all his problems, and never tackle them head on. Eventually the marriage will have it's high points but ultimately fail.
Both parties will be to blame. 5-5
I have spoken.
