You'd be surprised. It's slightly foreign, but I'm fully learning all the system mechanics and getting in some decently healthy combos on the pad in the microsoft store. Stick would obviously be dreamy, but in the meantime, it can be done.

Straight out the gate. the HIGHEST of doubts. But I'd assume as soon as someone opens up a new XB1 pad and gets access to the pcb it won't take too long. I reiterate, from my somewhat limited experience, KI seems 100% playable, do-able, on pad. Analog or D-pad (although, you'll obviously get better dashes, with the d-pad). At the very least, learning everything shouldn't be a problem. Hardest problems might be enabling instinct mode with the somewhat rigid right bumper and right trigger input for HP+HK, but even then, I was able to land some pretty specific instinct combos off of anti air crouch heavies and shit, and I'm far from an execution master.There's also shortcuts that can be set with the right analog stick. Mapping shortcuts to the right analog stick is straight out of BlazBlue and it's really helpful. Using the right analog stick for combo breakers and stuff is a really nice touch.

I think footsies have a lot to do with it. If your a fan of footsies, then NRS games tend to fall low on your tier list of games.

I am not disagreeing with you but when you compare it to most other fighting games, I would still say that their footsies are not as varied. Thats just my opinion though.

Mk9 had very good footsies. Injustice lacks footsies i can agree on that. But not mk9, So you don't really know what your saying...

MK9 has good footsie, just watch Jax mirror matches. But some stupid chars destroyed it. Plus MK9 is very unbalanced. I said NRS's games are worse than most of other FGs of this era because of the depth, the input, the logic, the hitboxes,... The only things make me keep playing NRS's games are MK series (i'm a fan) and this community.

Who else in the NRS community is planning to take KI3 serious? PL cant wait to drop INJ so i know he will, and Tyrant will obviously own the westcoast, KI3 is a tyrant type of game. Tom Brady will be abusing his tester advantage early like he always does, and the CD family is already claiming to run this game. REO ?????.

I must have been abusing my tester adv when I still was able to place top 8 in Mk9 almost 3 years after the game dropped.... Thanks god for that adv..
