you can set a disconnect time frame when it is separated from your phone for a certain amount of time. I could set it for 1 week for example and the card would deactivate.

the card only displays the last 4 digits of a card. so if it is stolen, the above response applies. You can also just go into your app on your phone and delete all your cards so it becomes useless.
