ah cool, and yeah you're right, nubcakes is good with batman, glad he won because he deserved it for sure. West coast needs a major tho, NEC could be that one .

The B11 into MB up batarang tech that PL was doing is fucking dirty. On block, it gives the same advantage as MB batarang (+38), but on hit, it launches them for a full combo. Batman players should be doing this more. I remember RapZiLLa54 first bringing this up in the Batman forums...

There are pros and cons to it. It is better than MB forward batarang because you can combo off of it, but MB forward batarang is better in a way because you can't interrupt it. You can interrupt b11~(right here)~MB up batarang

Yeah, it's still good as a change-up. Most are not going to dare interrupt it since they might fear that the Batman player will finish the string (they can get launched if Batman does B113). But yeah, you don't want to abuse it and get predictable. I'd also only use it mid-screen, since there's no need to do it in the corner, where you can combo off of forward MB batarang.

B113 is still interuptable, you should be mashing buttons while crouching against Batman strings.
Think of him like Jax from MK, but with Bats to cover up the holes in strings.

I know depending on the distance, the second hit of B11 will whiff sometimes, and thus can be interrupted. But if the second hit connects on block, is the string still interruptable before the final hit? Many Batman strings have holes in them like that. 113 is always interruptable before the final overhead, 223 should never be used as a block string since the second hit is high and a good player will full combo punish it (plus most will be blocking low against Batman anyway). The final hit of 112 will sometimes whiff after a jump-in too (still not sure what triggers this, if it's distance related or what)... Maybe FOREVER KING can help out...

That match between Nubcakes and PL was SICK! Loved the commentary as well. Major props to Nubcakes, @PerfectLegend, and @EGPWonder_chef, including the rest of the scene for turning out.
