Character Utilization! Maxing out!

When it comes to the Injustice cast, who do you think is the most explored? What about the least?

Ex. Ares: With his before patch 1.06, he was pretty much downloaded. But with the addition of MB teleports, his mix ups, combo damage potential, wakeup game, and overall style has shifted to incorporate that single move. I think this character alone still has a lot of untapped potential.

Ex. Superman: With the ease of use with this character, and slight changes in patch, the potential of this character has been maxed out, if not maxed, somewhat close. I don't see many new tech being discovered, even in the future for Big Blue.

Care to be a bit more intuitive with your post? I'm interested in knowing how everyone feels about characters they use, in regards to potential being there, just lack of execution, skill, etc. . . Do we have a Kenshi, or Kabal somewhere in the shadows?

the character was indeed helped with crowbar since NRS thought they would give us an ender that has decent pushback, gives a free dash and oki game

but we still cant open people up or even reach them in some cases

basically joker is the scorpion of MK9 if he ever opens you up, know his setups and its a 50 50 just as dangerous for both players, now add shitty mobility and no mixups and you got it.

ridiculously technical character who only thrives on a huge bag of gimmicks

im just waiting for the day people actually learn those gimmicks, thatl be the killing joke

Superman's potential hasn't been maxed out yet, people need to look into his 50/50 midscreen OTG with IAGS.
If anyone has anything to contribute, please add it to the thread above.

Yea, I fooled around with joker for 2 days, not long, but could definitely feel he was limited. But is there anything remotely useful, consistently, without gimmicks? :/

I think the better question is, who has gone the furthest to develop their characters.


Because when you get into the idea of "potential", the majority of the cast is underdeveloped.



However when you get into who has been busy vs. who has not, thats when you get the answers.


1. Joker Forum - The character, yeah, he hasn't gotten many changes so his developed stuff still works and more is being discovered. Hats off.



2. Bane Forum - Lots of techs have already been found (some of which is universal to a lot of characters), and more are being developed every day.


3. Hawkgirl Forum - I've experienced first-hand the explosive growth the HG forum has brought about. It seems not a day goes by where I don't catch wind of some new idea or combo coming from their side of things.


4. Zod Forum - Mainly PotH and a few others, but they put in work and found some pretty awesome stuff.


5. Flash Forum - Those guys have been fishing tech forever it seems, and it hasn't let up.

only his corner resets which require a jip to be landed specifically in the corner

good luck doing that vs 10f lifts, sky slashing claws and tridents, flying uppercuts and d2s into 50% into vortexes

Don't know if Grundy's close to being maxed out, but I keep seeing new things with him online and get comments on how "I never knew he could dash like that" or "You can combo into that throw?" when I use him.

He already has mostly inescapable resets on a lot of the cast. You can block it if you're gdlk but I haven't seen anyone do it

I think some time down the road a joker player will learn most maybe all the strings that can be interrupted from parry, or will just never block and use parry instead and it will make some character MUs change, because maybe some of their useful strings will be unusable, and then someone will come up with set ups off of parry knockdowns, and things will change.

I dont know much about joker but its just what i think will happen lol

EDIT: Also that his trait buff will become more common too. and the speed buff could give him weird set ups or something
