They're more like tri-monthly events. The organizer gets the venue for free. Stuffs most communities in meeting rooms unless he is paid. Charges you a venue fee, and has his family do all of the organizing. The only thing that makes it a major is the fact that everyone is invited. Go to WNF, you're invited.

I'd say whatever event Valle runs would be considered a Cali major.

Hey guys, I was barely relevant in MK9, entirely irrelevant in Injustice, but I'm going to make a thread calling out the coast that wins every tournament, claim their tournaments are shit and to come to Arizona(which is irrelevant), for some random "tournament" to prove your worth. We won't travel to you though, oh of course not. Better come or else you're frauds.

kdz being quiet right now does not take away from what he has done
and what the west coast has NOT done

If you want to take away from kdz for playing superman, then you might as well take that away from theo as well. As his aquaman has only been post patch and NOTHING has happened since. If you are going to do that, it also means that slayer is a fraud. So that is another fraud from "your" region. Which pretty much means Chris G still owns you all.

I think you guys are forgetting that 5 people from the west coast made it into top 8 at evo the 2 of your players that made it are retired now. Chris g lives in a world of his own.

a cali major......so a regional then? and you just sound really un grateful about what big e does and has done in the FGC and why a lot of people shit on the NRS community for, when an irrelevant scene starts talking out of their ass (in this case just one person from said scene) and then judge our community as a whole because of it. sad really.

that's because east coast players had to play each other getting to top 8 while some people got free brackets and no competition until top 8 lol

Yea, I am really ungrateful. I would care if the community leaders were honest and said they like the income they can pull in for throwing sub par events. Its not for the love of the community, its for the love of a decent paycheck every 3 months.

I thought it was funny when my east coast online training partner beat the highest placing west coast player from evo.

anyway i'll leave now this is too much drama for me
