Some people can't handle loosing offline where the game is very different and so choose to hide online and just noob hunt doing a bunch of online warrior tactics.

Some. And some are from Europe. But about losing offline, who wouldn't want to play offline if they could? I don't think there are many people who act like that.

I think it would be odd if Injustice's downfall was the next gen consoles because it is on PS4 so that really doesn't make sense. MK10 could be but depending on the release. If MK10 comes quicker than expected then I can see people playing both. I don't think Injustice is done anytime soon

The FGC as a whole could learn a lot from the Smash community.

Every local event I go to - Smash players showing up with anywhere from 25-50 heads.

Granted, their game isn't online. So they HAVE to show up, and that's their greatest strength.

They have to meet up to play, and that's why their game is still relevant nearly 10 years later.

What the fuck is the point of playing online if you're never going to compete offline?

how about just for the sake of playing online?

I don't know what the future holds but them releasing it for the PS4 is a good sign. Especially since it will be a launch game, but from what I've noticed and this has been for a few months now that anytime I go online to play there isn't really that many people on. There's almost always less than a hundred. and then the people who actually play you only play as one character the whole time so it tends to get stale quick. this is on ps3 btw. I don't know what it's like for 360. I wish they would release an Ultimate Edition of Mortal kombat for the PS4 too that has all the extra costumes that were added to the vita. I think I would actually buy the whole system just for that alone.
