Master Bane player Maxintensity25 (aka EMPEROR_MAX) has risen from the fire to win his second Ghost Battle Series event!
During the entire tournament, Pimpimjim decided to stay with Lex Luthor as his character of choice. In the grand finals, Maxintenisty's Bane would eventually reset the bracket. Everyone was wondering if Pimpimjim would pull out one of his many alts, but he decided to stick with Lex through the reset bracket, as well. In a final hype moment in the final round of the final game, Max's Bane would level 3 venom charge through PPJ's super as Lex, beating the armor that the super normally protects you with. This would secure EMPEROR_MAX's second GBS victory.
Earlier parts of the bracket featured several upsets, like GGA 16 Bit being defeated by Rational Jim's Flash in a very close 2-1 set in the winners side, and also barely losing to his long-standing rival NRF ImNewbieSauce's Doomsday in Losers.
HAN was also unable to break his streak against both Pimpimjim and EMPEROR_MAX, losing to both after making it all the way to winners finals with his basic and cheap Black Adam.
McCutty Mayham, Chicago's premier Harley player, also unfortunately lost his run-backs vs HAN in winners and 16 Bit in losers, after eliminating RM Truth.
