pffft, so play mk9 dude. Like i said, injustice is mk10 with dc chars, so mk10 with injustice's gameplay will be mk10 with no dc charsI want to play Mortal Kombat. Not injustice with mk10 characters.
that's racist manpffft, so play mk9 dude. Like i said, injustice is mk10 with dc chars, so mk10 with injustice will be mk10 with no dc chars.
Dont play ranked bro, only playing one game is pointless. I like ft5s. If you think its bad on xbl you should try ps. I only play on ps if im playing people that dont have xbl.more mk players is a sign, but it taking minutes to find someone on ranked then playing the same 5 people over and over and only 30 people in rooms lol idk seems pretty dead
A lot of Injustice players don't like MK, and are playing it specifically because it's different than MK. Back to block w/ crossups, SF-style controls, comic-book characters, a more universal-feeling meter/armor system. etc are big reasons why a lot of people jumped into this game that weren't playing MK.Once MK10 comes out a large part of the injustice players will switch to that.
I really don't get that. I'll have to rant on it another time, but I agree with you hardcore. The fact that people cant support two games at the same time says alot about this community.
so true, what is really that hard about playing mk9 and IGAU? I dnt even need to provide examples but I guess I will: my bro and reo both got top 8 in mk and IGAU, I think that says that people can play both if they actually try to and dnt just say "well the other game is dead, so i'll just play this one only". Bunch of nonsense.EVeryone is so excited for mk10 until it actually comes out and this site goes through the same retarded shenanigans it did with mk9 and this game. The fact that people cant support two games at the same time says alot about this community. Why does it have to a be a competition with everything?
Its seems like minute nonsense that shouldnt matter always takes top priority
true, as far as balance goes, there are plenty of 6 4s and 5 5s in IGAU and that is very good. This patch is looking great as we are seeing characters like bane tearing it up. NEC is going to be huge for this game as I said before, first major for the new patch, should be interesting. Also I feel if they get the right testers for mk10 (better put my bro in there to test it lol), it'll do way better than mk10 in how long it stays prevalent in the FGC and in its balance.A lot of Injustice players don't like MK, and are playing it specifically because it's different than MK. Back to block w/ crossups, SF-style controls, comic-book characters, a more universal-feeling meter/armor system. etc are big reasons why a lot of people jumped into this game that weren't playing MK.
I don't expect everyone to switch -- both games will probably continue to have healthy followings of their own, and I think that's what they both deserve.
And part of Injustice's future will be determined by how well the 'last balance patch' stands up to the evolution of tech and playstyles; if it holds up and the playing field continues to be more even, it'll still be a blast at tournaments around the world. But if it becomes a Kabal/Cyrax-esque exploited situation, and there really are no more patches, expect people to lose interest.
Personally, I'm fond of IGAU and I think it has some really fun moments of its own that don't happen in any other FG.
Only time will tell
LBSH and no bullshit plz: How "dedicated" are many of you here? What exactly do you do to support your game or community outside of playing online and growing your e-peen? Because only a small handful of people are always at certain events and whatnot. Before you say "must be nice to live near a tournament scene herp derp" - There is absolutely ZERO interest in MK or Injustice where I am. I support the community as best I can by sponsoring and donating to those I might consider friends here. So I ask again: What exactly do most of you do to support your community and its games?
There is no point, I have no idea why people do this. Other then for fun (which is understandable) but then how/why do they follow the game at a high level? The FGC as a whole could learn a lot from the Smash community.
Every local event I go to - Smash players showing up with anywhere from 25-50 heads.
Granted, their game isn't online. So they HAVE to show up, and that's their greatest strength.
They have to meet up to play, and that's why their game is still relevant nearly 10 years later.
What the fuck is the point of playing online if you're never going to compete offline?
TBH i don't have faith in MK10 being better. Maybe, i'd have to see it to believe it at this point. I'm just affraid that this is the direction nrs wants to go, with increasingly simple games.
you know there's edit option for your post huh?Sorry for like the three posts in a row :<

I think the Injustice community will always be here this game is just too good not to keep on playing. I'm not saying its the greatest fighting game in history, but what NRS has accomplished with it I think it will keep being played for a very long time. People still play MVC2 even though that game has tons of flaws people still love that game a lot I think if we keep our community going keep trying to get events together then we should be able to get it close to that kind of status. I could be way off and not know what the fuck I'm talking about but a man can have hopes and dreams right?
