IGN's Destin Legarie just posted some official details on what we can expect to see on October 31st regarding Orchid's game-play and time it will be showing. Taken from IGN:


On October 31st at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT, IGN and Double Helix will be bringing you two hours of never-before-seen gameplay -- including the reveal of Orchid -- from the Xbox One exclusive Killer Instinct. The stream will be your opportunity to ask staff from Double Helix about the character, balancing, and more -- and you'll see it first here. You can also look forward to seeing the game played on next-gen hardware and witnessing Orchid's combo trailer for the first time (be sure to watch until the end...).

So far in the new Killer Instinct game that's headed for "release day" Xbox One, there are six characters confirmed with the iconic female character, Orchid as the latest. Since her official reveal at the end of newly introduced Sadira game-play video there has been really no actual game-play for Orchid. Destin Legarie of IGN says that on October 31st, that will change. On the 31st IGN looks to be holding a live Killer Instinct stream that will feature game-play and a possible 7th character reveal? Legarie stated on Twitter that IGN will be holding a live stream of some sort on October 31, and at the end of said stream, we can expect to see Orchid in action. The IGN representative went on to hint at another possible reveal, but this one was a bit cryptic.

"Orchid's gameplay trailer will be shown after the live stream... get ready for a new _________," Legarie said. Considering that the past few official character trailers featured teasers for the next character in the line up, it is more than likely that we will see who the 7th character in season 1 is, set to release early next year.

Legarie is probably referring to a new stage, not a new character. I'm pretty psyched to see what kind of stage they have in mind for B. Orchid.

I'm hoping it's a stage where you can knock someone off of it like her original stage. That would definitely be interesting. It wouldn't have to be über violent or anything, either. Just make it interesting.

bitch is ugly. that outfit is terrible. her moveset will probably be watered down and boring...like the rest of the game. double helix hasn't a clue what they are doing.

Kinda looks like Jade from Beyond Good and Evil.

So far every combo video, err gameplay video has just looked like a jumbled mess to me. It's so hard to tell what's actually going on most of the time.

Actually he's not. The format thus far has been the gameplay of a previously teased character (Orchid) on their stage (Rebel Outpost) after which a new character is revealed, people are betting on Spinal because of the logo leak and it being Halloween.

That would be great if your right. Seems like jumping the gun, though, if they tease a character this soon who won't be available at launch.

They confirmed on the MS play arcade stream, or whatever the hell it's called, that both the final characters of season 1 would be revealed prior to launch. I'm almost 100% certain you will see a new characters, as they have said it will be right at the very end of the gameplay trailer, like previous reveals have been.

Fingers crossed eh?
