Hey everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My PSN gamertag is johnnytherocksta, I know kinda stupid. Right now I hope to get better at Mk9 and get ready for tournaments. Any tips to get ready for tournaments would be greatly appreciated because im so nervous.

Really good attitude bro and the biggest tip I can have honestly is.

"Don't care what people think about your play and have fun."

I mean obviously you want to win; who doesn't? But the fact is tournaments are just alot of fun because of the community aspect of things. I personally believe if you keep this in mind, you'll be alot less nervous when you're playing on the big screen. Honestly everyone would just be happy to have another tournament player. I have some nerve issues and when I go to my first tournament here in a month, I know I may have to deal with them. But honestly? Just have alot of fun bro and meet cool people.

Nah, just a local one called the Middle of Nowhere tournament. About 150-200 heads, or so I've heard when they talked about last years count so it should be fun.

Would love to go to Devastation though.

Yeah i was only asking because i live in Arizona and me and my friend are going as our first tourney. We cant wait.

Arizona actually has a pretty strong Mortal Kombat community. If your plans are to be ready for Devastation I suggest you try to come out to our tournaments. I'm more than willing to help up and coming locals get to the same level as the people they look up to in the Mortal Kombat community.
