2-time Ghost Battle Series winner GGA Slips prevails in yet another dominating performance at this weeks GBS event, after being sent to loser's early in the bracket by GGA 16 Bit with his favorite fighting game character of all time, Scorpion! This marks the third GBS event Slips has won, tying him with GGA Pimpimjim as the most winning player at GGA for our local events.

Runbacks​
This GBS event was filled with quite a few runbacks from previous events, but unfortunately did not have the normal amount of competitors we normally have come out.

- Hruza Da Bruza got to run it back against GGA 16 Bit, after losing their last bout at GBS # 8. 16 Bit had his number again at this event, winning 2-0.
- GGA soonk got a chance to redeem his loss from last week vs GGA Slips, but also was unable to deal with the hell-spawned ninja. Soonk also had another chance to take on Maxintensity's Bane, but FAILED again.
- Master Bane player Maxintensity25 (EMPEROR_MAX) had quite a few runbacks, vs GGA pimpimjim who defeated him to win GBS # 7 in Grand Finals, and also GGA Slips who he beat in GBS # 8. It was unfortunately not his night, as both were able to beat him this time around.

The Grand Finals this week featured GGA Slips and GGA Pimpimjim, after Slips made his way back through the losers bracket. This would also be a runback from GBS # 8, where Slips was able to win 2-0. Last week, Pimpimjim tried using his Zatanna, and this week tried his hand with HawkGirl, Raven and Lex Luthor. After being reset, Pimpimjim decided to stick with Lex all through the reset bracket and was able to get some momentum going, but not enough; Pimpimjim's mastery of several characters has served him well in the past, but this night he was unable to get a hold of the slippery one, Slips.

No we ran into Spider-Man at Tony's last night so Slips grabbed a quick picture with him.

GGA HAN I have a solution that may not be perfect but could help transition to Xbox. We run the tournament on both systems for now but the stream is always Xbox. The players have a choice between PS3 and Xbox, if there is a dispute on the system the higher seed gets to pick. At that point people can borrow a pad or something to play their set. Not perfect but if people are hesitant to come just because of Xbox we can at least get them to come out.
