RG Rico Suave wins Injustice: Gods Among Us at The Break Weekly #229!

As tonight's chapter of the Break Weekly unfolds, we witness a couple of surprising twists. The first of these surprises entails the long-awaited debut of a Flash player who sought obsessively to redeem himself after Summer Jam 7 - EMPR Zyphox! The other includes the unveiling of a new character that EMP DarthArma has apparently begun investing time and effort into, as you'll notice from the image seen below, where Arma is seen confronting RG Rico Suave's Black Adam with this new character in the Grand Finals.

Unfortunately for Arma, his Bane was swept aside by the wrathful dictator, but as he did come from the Winner's Bracket, the bracket reset gave Arma his chance to redeem himself, so he made the return switch to his iconic Dark Knight. And from that point on, a climactic match would commence. With the score tied at two wins apiece in the second Grand Finals, Arma's resolution to wrest the championship away from Rico burned with energy matched only by that of his fierce opponent...​

Now that the clouds of dust spurred on by this battle have settled, Rico Suave's Black Adam stands towering above his fallen foe, ensuring the continuation of his streak of victory! Major props to EMP DarthArma and Rico for such a well-fought Grand Finals and congratulations to Rico for taking the whole tournament!​

I dont think his MB button being correct would have saved him considering he got double perfected. He didnt even touch him...

yeah no that game was terrible, i was playing like absolute shit all day, my timing was off and it was just not my day. still i had a chance to win but just made the wrong reads dropped to many combos. that is what i get for not practicing offline on ps3 before the tournament. like against rico i jump his lightning and kept doing bf2 too fast and it wouldn't come out. i'll try to be there next week again to get more offline exp and such.

I respect you for picking him up, but just imagine... JUST IMAGINE if you actually knew his dirt. We were in the BCC saying "Its good fundamentals, but its a really back-to-basics Bane. If he knew how to manage his Bane better it would've been free for him."

Props though, if you need any Bane tech or want to take the character a lot more seriously I welcome you to come by Bane forum. You've got some serious potential, and we'd love to help you unlock it.

I've got to say...I hated watching Rico's BA pre-patch just because I knew how annoying that play style was. Post-patch now, his BA looks even more deadly...less annoying, just REALLY good...and I really enjoy watching it.

That final series between Rico and Arma was pretty epic, and could have gone either way. Good shit.
