If he wants MVC3 Hulk then it'd be more like Doomsday. Gamma charge and Doomsday shoulders should feel familiar. Also a certain Sheeva like jumping off the screen move will be very similar to Hulk's gamma crush Super. Bane's great but a more similar to MVC Hulk character would be Doomsday honestly. Just replace jumping clap with the jumping body splash. No real answer for a Doomsday equivalent to Hulk's awesome armored standing H though (cant spell Hulk without H!)

Just remember that you dont have very much in the way of wakeups, but your pressure and corner game are pretty sweet. Lots of dudes just sort of fish for splash crossups into d1 or dealers choice when they start. The new armored MB shoulder dash should help you with wakeup some I hope. He always got me on my own wakeup till someone pointed out you have to block him standing then crouching when he punches the ground as it hits twice and each hit is a different kind. He's good stuff. Great for folks who read the opponent more than the character and like to punish.

Imo Lex is the techiest character, this dude has too many different setups. I don't know how I'm gonna keep different setups for different characters on different stages when I have different meter amounts and the opponent has different meter amounts and I have the corner or half a screen from the corner or a full screen from the corner or midscreen. Seems like a pretty ambitious character to optimize tbh heh

My other character is Bane and Bane is definitely in the top 10 easiest characters to play in this game imo, if not the top 5.

I wouldnt' go back at this point. TAC Infinites, TOD, Dr. Doom lockdown (he's on nearly every team), Vergil's Sword loops, Zero's everything loops, Morridoom, and just general balance all over (especially concerning X-factor) has just become so rampant that its a really broken game these days. Everything is seeing who can land their TAC infinite or loop first and then its pretty well over unless someone pops a lvl 3 anchor on the last character mixup attempt...then they can body the whole team :/

There's tech and crazy stuff in UMVC3 but its list of gamebreakingly bad balance problems has gotten pretty staggering in the past year as the meta refined those aspects to the point that people play the game by Rote now abusing them.

It had potential, but they just didn't think half the shit in that game through. Be glad you're not still playing it. The dude's on Neogaf only seem alive currently on the dream of a patch some day and Capcom can't afford to do it.
